Our Bright team consists of experts in reporting business analysis and IT development. One of our key assets is our customer-oriented approach. Olivier started out as a Senior Analyst - Developer for Accent. Over time he advanced to the position of IT Manager. Following a stint as Software Director for QISSme he founded BrightAnalytics with Lode and Merijn. In addition Olivier is also co-founder of BrightStaffing a cloud application for Belgian temporary employment agencies that trains and coaches young talent to become Software Developers.
Merijn started his career with Accent Jobs as a Software Developer and eventually became a Project Manager. Later he trained a large number of developers as Software Director at QISSme.
In fact he is still a trainer today because as co-founder of BrightAnalytics Merijn coaches our merry gang of Software Developers.
Lode racked up 9 years as a Business Analyst and Finance Manager at Accent Jobs and subsequently at the House of HR before co-authoring the BrightAnalytics success story. As our co-founder he trains our Business Analysts to become experts in the field.
Jurgen Ingels is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. A major breakthrough for him was with Clear2Pay a pioneering company in FinTech. Today Jurgen is managing partner at Smartfin. With their fund they invest in promising European technology companies. In addition he sits on the board of directors of numerous renowned companies from various sectors.
Roel Caers is CEO of Guardsquare. Roel oversees the day-to-day operations at Guardsquare. He makes sure the companys organization resources and goals are aligned with the long-term strategic objectives. Roel has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry 10 of which he spent in various management positions.
Before joining SmartFin Thomas worked as Portfolio Manager for iMinds (now part of imec) where he managed a portfolio of 100+ companies and supported them in their fundraising and growth strategies. Before that Thomas was active in management consulting at Accenture and more recently at Bain amp; Company as part of their private equity practice where he advised investment funds and corporates on strategic and operational matters.
