After holding a number of leadership roles at Sapient Nitro in Canada and US for over five years Alex joined Havas Worldwide in 2013.

Alex has more than 25 years of technology solutions experience and has spent the last 15 years strategically integrating marketing user experience and application development.

With his combined tiers of experience Alex firmly establishes Havas digital capability in Canada as a full service Digital Agency with Digital Strategy User Experience Creative Development Social Mobile Integration and Analytics all delivered by an in-house team. In short Alex ensures that his teams are prepared to meet and go beyond the multifaceted requirements of modern business.

Alex has worked with a wide range of clients over the course of his career including Volvo Chrysler Honda PCF Rogers TELUS Shaw Bell RIM Scotiabank TD RBC BMO/Harris CIBC Manulife / JH Key Bank GWL London Life HBC OLG Enbridge Royal Sun Alliance Raymond James and Under Armour.

Anestis entered the industry in the late 90s as a classically trained Graphic Designer. His early work included a microsite design for Wayne Gretzkys induction to the Hockey Hall of Fame and a touchscreen kiosk for the Air Canada Centre to commemorate the Maple Leafs transition from the Gardens to the ACC.

Prior to joining the Havas Worldwide team Anestis spent nearly 13 years building managing and mentoring multidisciplinary teams for Organic (Omnicom) Sapient Nitro and CGI. He has lead award-winning engagements for industry leading clients such as Chrysler Honda Acura Jeep Dodge Bell Seiko USA Sony Presidents Choice Benjamin Moore Enbridge Scotiabank and RBC.

Jarek has bolstered his marketing degree with over 14 years of experience in digital on client consulting and agency side with both B2B and B2C orientations. His focus has been and continues to be on delivering data-grounded innovative digital solutions and enabling realization of business objectives across multiple verticals with heavy focus in Automotive Financial and Retail.

Jarek has provided valuable digital strategic insight on the Volkswagen account and was instrumental in the development of an integrated digital dashboard the optimization of the channel planning and the success of key campaigns such as ’Whod a Thought.’

As Senior VP brand strategy Stephane Mailhiot is in charge of strategic planning for the Montreal office. With his team he ensures the consumer remains at the heart of all we do inspires creativity and allows each of our clients whether French-speaking or English-speaking to achieve their objectives.

You can hear Stephane on Betes de pub a segment of Medium Large broadcast on Ici Radio-Canada Premiere (French only). Along with Arnaud Granata Vice-President and Editorial Director of Infopresse Stephane analyzes and comments on current events in the fields of communications and marketing. Together they wrote ’Tout ce que les publicitaires ne vous disent pas’ published by editions La Presse.

Prior to joining Havas Worldwide Canada Stephane was a strategic planner at lg2 where he led brands such as Desjardins OKA Cheese and Lotto-Max. He also contributed to several campaigns honoured for both their creativity and performance.

Stephane holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from UQAM and a DESS in Communications-Marketing from HEC Montreal. Since 2008 he teaches a course titled ’Savoir convaincre : confrontation et persuasion’ at the Universite de Sherbrooke.

Backed by 15 years of experience in advertising Gaelle is a seasoned communicator and a leader who expertly mobilizes teams. She is also an active listener who takes what shes learned to better motivate her team and deliver on client needs. Gaelle works closely with our clients taking great care to develop long-lasting relationships based on open dialogue and respect.

In his 20+ years of experience Carle Coppens has been creative director at BCP Publicis Brad and Ogilvy. His campaigns as well as his work as an author have garnered countless prizes including honours from Cannes Lions Epica Act Responsible Communication Arts Marketing Awards and the Crea Awards which he also helmed the jury of in 2016.
