Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the head of investor relations for a big European energy organisation.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Black Pepper Software Ltd.?
More recently, we’ve been focused on how we promise with different stakeholders and investors and how we can expound the complexities of achieving decarbonization objectives in the UK. We hoped to form an attractive UX-led app to promise these parties and help them to apprehend, through a single format, the challenges implicated in decarbonizing energy systems and removing oil and gas out of the practicable fuels from the origination of electricity. We wanted to do so through an attractive app in which users could set their electricity mix and see what the outputs would be in different scenarios.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
Black Pepper Software Ltd. developed a microwebsite web app that works on iOS phones and tablets. It’s more of a mini-website than an app. Their team did both the design and outgrowth. Phase one and two are now complete, and we haven’t yet began on phase three.
Was there a dedicated team?
There’s a project director, an account director, a UX designer, and a couple of developers.
How did you come to work with Black Pepper Software Ltd.?
We looked at different companies, and Black Pepper Software Ltd. had the best throw. We hired them owing of their reputation for being a very UX-focused design agency. They had worked with clients correspondent to us, and they best understood our design briefs. The things that swayed me were that they agreed to the timeframes that we set, they were pliant, and they had competitive prices. They were also ready to harmonize their workflow to our budget and working phraseology.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We began working unitedly in August 2019, and it’s ongoing.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
I’ve had a veritably good experience working with Black Pepper Software Ltd. They have forcible outputs. Overall, my feedback is very real.
How did Black Pepper Software Ltd. accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
We’ve had two different nation responsible for project treatment. The leading individual was not as good as the second, but they were okay. The second individual has been excellent and prepares an above-average experience overall. They would like to use project treatment tools with us, but our organisation systems are outdated.
They have been very pliant and helpful in harmonizeing their measure ways of working about our processes. They’re apprehending when it takes time for me to get contracts signed or approved. Their processes are very good. They keep us updated. The times it worked less well was when they were working part-time, or there were a few pieces to pick up toward the end of a phase. That was less powerful, but when I gave them feedback, they repromised the team and got the work done. The team responds very well to constructive feedback.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
They’re ready to be pliant to work within the parameters I set. They have a good process and prepare big creative input. They’re a nice, well-inclined team.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
I was a pliant disappointed toward the end of the project when they moved onto some bigger projects. We were a little chunk of their workload, and things were getting missed and dropped, it wasn’t a smooth process anymore. Once I shared that, they went back to having weekly calls to make sure those things were being picked up. We did much better with our second project director.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
You get out what you put in. Have daily standup calls and make sure you have the right nation able to sign off on the right processes. Delays on our end caused some of the issues we had. Make sure you’re able to prepare all of the information that they need so you’re not delaying outgrowth. Also, fix that they properly complete and complete all of the tasks and fully tie the knot.
