A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the digital director at KitchenCraft, a leading housewares organisation in the UK. We form part of a big, global American organisation named Lifetime Brands Europe. We sell over 4,000 kitchenware products to both independent and huge multinational stores throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the globe.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Brightec?
We wanted to create an app to be used on any artifice that would allow our clients to be able to order easily.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Brightec responsible for?
We worked through what the app should look like, how it should work, what our clients should see, and how the backend should look and work. It was a plainly instructed process. They broke down the timeline and what they needed from me. It was nice working with someone that gives a clear sign of what they want and when they want it.
They developed an iOS app. The Android app is being built now and should be live in January. They did the complete backend outgrowth and frontend design. They know apps in and out. If we had an idea, they let us know if it would work or not.
What is the team dynamic?
There were three or four nation working on our app each time I viwebsited them. We talked with the designer, the iOS developers, and another team limb.
How did you come to work with Brightec?
We looked at working with a few different companies but Brightec veritably stood out each time we met with them.
What is the terminal result of working with Brightec?
We began working unitedly in September 2017, and the work is ongoing.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
The app works veritably well and has a clean look and feel to it. Brightec did a big job of giving it a KitchenCraft feel and from inner testing so far we can without see how much enjoyment users are getting out of the app.
How did Brightec accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
I viwebsited them once a week for almost 10 weeks. Brightec is the only organisation we’ve ever worked with that used tools like Slack. With Slack, it’s easy to interaction them, and they answer almost without. We also talk by phone. They always keep me posted on the progress and meet deadlines.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Brightec?
The way their service is laid out and the way they do ad hoc meetings is big. Brightec feels like an extension of the team.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
No. It’s been a real experience.
