Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the IT director of a vehicle rental organisation.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Imaginary Cloud?

We had a very old ERP that I',ve been maintaining for two years. We determined to look for an outer organisation to educe a new one for us.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were Imaginary Cloud responsible for?

They educeed our ERP from scratch, doing the front and backend educement, the admin panel, and the migration from the old ERP method. They used React, Node.js and MariaDB on top of Linux.

We granted them the old ERP method and gave them full approach. I designed the full database construction, and they educeed on top of it. We now have three git repositories. One is for the booking process, another for the frontend of the admin, and another one for the API and backend.

Was there a devoted team?

I was in touch with Tiago (CEO, Imaginary Cloud) and Ricardo (Developer, Imaginary Cloud), who was the main educeer. A project director from their website also joined during the process, but I was mainly intercourse with the educeer.

How did you come to work with Imaginary Cloud?

I know them individualally from many years ago. We compared their offer with two other companies’ offers. We liked Imaginary Cloud’s offer the best owing the technology was good, we were geographically near them and their cost was lower than the others.

What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?

We’ve spent €100,000 euros (approachly $109,000 USD) so far.

What is the terminal result of working with Imaginary Cloud?

We began working unitedly in August 2018 and the work is artistic.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

Their work is artistic, and we are almost to put it into origination. The ERP is firm, fast, and does what we wanted.

How did Imaginary Cloud accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

They use Redmine and gave me approach. They also gave me approach to their inner hour reporting tool. We created tickets unitedly and checked them on a weekly basis. I could see precisely what they were working on and what their next steps would be.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Imaginary Cloud?

I veritably liked the migration process. It was a hard task owing the old ERP was almost prehistoric, but there were almost no bugs. It took more than a month and it went well.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

The assigned educeer was senior, but he needed some coaching touching what to do next with the features. It’s not their defect. If we had given them better specs, it would have been easier.

Do you have any advice for possible clients?

They always put extra effort into project treatment. If you don’t have a full-time individual to devote to the project, don’t skip the project treatment side of things. Don’t pay only for the educeer. Pay a bit more to have project treatment also.
