Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
We’re a UK-based educational charity that promotes information almost veganism and supports nation going vegan. Our structure also works with companies to trademark vegan products. I’m the senior digital interactions official here. I run the digital interactions team within the interactions section. We deal with our website, collective media, blogs, and a podcast.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Mubaloo?
We’ve had two engagements with their team, both of them involving the fix of a veganism-related app.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
Our app encourages nation to go and stay vegan over a 30-day time. They built off of existing code to complete both projects, making the app easier for our users. The app functions as a month-long program, so each time someone uses the app, they’re presented with a video including common vegan influencers.
Those prepare general information almost going vegan, which can have to do with ethics, dining out, or alimentation. That way, users are prepared with daily information. They’re also presented with a quiz surrounding veganism. Completing the quiz unlocks recipes and discounts as well as extra information. The idea is to gradually ease nation into veganism.
Mublaloo was implicated most heavily in the back-end outgrowth of the app. They did tweak little UI glitches, but they focused on our database and the storage of user data.
Was there a dedicated team?
Across both engagements, there were two senior developers, a project ruler, and a business outgrowth ruler.
How did you come to work with Mubaloo?
They came as a recommendation from a design agency that we had a past relationship with.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
The leading project cost £5,300 (approachly $6,890 USD), and the second should come out to almost £6,000 (approachly $7,802 USD).
What is the terminal result of working with ?
The leading engagement began and ended in November 2019. The second project lasted from January–February 2020.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
All of their work was very high-quality. It’s been a big relationship. The only effect implicated a slight deadline slip. It was only one day late, and they worked hard to get all sorted out.
At the time of the leading engagement, we were suffering from an iOS bug that rendered the app unusable for most users. At this point, the app can be used by everyone with ease. That’s fully changed user feedback on the app. We’re starting to see the ratings of the app increase in response to the changes Mubaloo has made on the iOS rendering.
How did Mubaloo accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Perhaps, there could be more interaction surrounding possible deadline slips. That would’ve enabled us to substitute our strategy about it. Though, they did work very hard to regain from the little deadline slip that we skilled. Generally, it’s been nice to work with them owing they have a amiable team.
On both engagements, they completed high-quality projects. We interacted mainly through email, Slack, and phone. Our team has also met in-person precedently.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
The efficiency in which they’ve managed to dive into our codebase has been very forcible. They have a hard feel on what’s going on, able to unite the issues fastly to explain them effectively. Generally, it’s been a stress-free process.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Aside from the interaction effect that I mentioned earlier, there’s nothing I can ponder of. Everything else they do is very good.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Make sure you have clear requirements laid out for them. The less clear you are, the more hard the project will be for them.
