Popsa was founded by a team of technology experts responsible for millions of downloads. Previously they have brought innovative businesses to market such as Digipill and Pollen VC.
Unlike others in the gift industry Popsa#39;s heritage in tech means that our products are truly mobile-first and are designed with world-class user experience in mind.
Popsa launched in March 2016.
The app is now available in 50 countries around the globe and has been translated into 10 different languages.
Our most popular delivery locations are currently the UK Germany and Italy but we#39;re preparing to break into further markets across Eastern Europe and Asia over the next year.
Popsa has pioneered the use of narrow AI technology in the personalised gift market.
Our printAI algorithm puts together the most appropriate photobook layout in just a few tenths of a second.
We look at file metadata such as dimensions location and dates to establish an appropriate order and mix of templates. Facial detection APIs are also used to ensure that any faces are not cropped out. In short we do the hard work so that our customers can focus on the finishing touches.
We recently won an award for the best startup in Europe. It was voted for by a panel of judges and an audience vote. We showcased our innovative consumer technology on stage alongside a host of other ventures and won over 70% of the vote.
Since our launch Apple have also featured us on the App Store in 33 different locations including at the top of the home page across a host of European countries.
