Objectives
After deliberating over our submissions for our charity app initiative, we partnered up with Breast Cancer Now’s Becca app to offer them our App Growth Programme, with support over 12-months, for free. The objectives included Implementing the right tools and set-up required for analysis and
optimisations, increasing brand visibility to users who would really utilise Becca and increasing engagement rates of their users with their curated content.
Strategy
The Yodel Mobile programme would ensure a holistic approach to app marketing with the aim of acquiring, engaging and retaining high-value users for the app. This includes essential strategies such as organic discoverability, App Store Optimisation, conversion rate optimisation, mCRM and data infrastructure, which are all key in determining the success and growth of a product.
Results
Our results were imperative in laying the blueprint for Becca’s app marketing activity. We helped to shape and elevate the marketing strategy of the app to drive more users to the app and help women who were undergoing difficulties in moving forward after finishing their hospital-based treatment for primary breast cancer. The campaign was so successful, it won the Charity Campaign at the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, 2019.
