UNILEVER: A global company selling fast-moving consumer goods that are used by 2.5 billion people on a daily basis.
NEED: A software solution to monitor monthly sales per concessionaire per area and per product.
APPROACH: We analyzed all types of input files, sales network hierarchy, products sold and areas covered by concessionaires, designed the database
structure that was required to support all this data and implemented reports and graphs, according to the specifications provided by Unilever’s stakeholders.SOLUTION: EXIS designed and developed a custom client – server software, that received input files from sales partners and generated graphs and reports for the management team.
OUTCOME &, BENEFIT: The business software delivered was a simple-to-use tool for loading large amount of data, using standardized Excel templates as input, supporting data validations upon data loading, for data integrity, and providing automated reports and statistics.
Unilever Hellas was able to load sales and concessionaires’ data through a single and standard interface, aggregating all sales related data in a centralized database.
