Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

Precept Labs is a startup based in Bangalore principally focused on consumer internet fruits. I’m a co-founder of the organisation.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Inkoniq?

As a tech organisation, most of our employees come from a technology background. When we began edifice a platform to handle housework transactions, the leading challenge was having a veritably good design. Though, we lacked the expertise in-house.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were Inkoniq responsible for?

We brought Inkoniq on board for UI/UX help. We have a mobile platform that’s a kind of special marketplace where we fetch in local vendors and households. We wanted to make sure that all its functionalities could be accomplished in a couple of clicks. The users are not necessarily that tech-savvy, so the challenge was designing the app in such a way that a leading-timer user could navigate it without direction or tutorials. Inkoniq granted design for both the Android and the iOS rendering.

From the commencement of the design process, we wanted the app to be easy to apprehend even for users with no English-speaking experiences. That required localized full and interaction for our target market, India. We wanted to make sure that we could easily deploy localized renderings of the platform without needing many changes.

We gave this brief to Inkoniq, and they undertook a process to tackle these issues that impressed us. The team leading conducted user interviews. They spoke with developed users in order to apprehend how to go almost it from their perspective—what kinds of issues they were facing and what solutions they were expecting. I was impressed by the kinds of questions they asked and the provision they did for the user interviews.

Was there a dedicated team?

We initially had a project handler as the main point of touch. They then assigned three UX designers, including one senior individual. There were 3–4 nation in the team collectively.

How did you come to work with Inkoniq?

We chose them based on their track archives and antecedent work. I began interacting with their team and developedly named them to our service for a face-to-face meeting. I was very impressed with their description of the things they were going to do and determined to fetch them on board.

I met and interviewed 6–7 design studios, looking at the work they’d completed, the backgrounds or profiles of their teams, and their cost. Across all of these, it made perception to go with Inkoniq.

What is the terminal result of working with Inkoniq?

We began working with Inkoniq about April 2019, and it’s ongoing. We’re programning to give them more work on the app’s design.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

We came up with a set of requirements, and Inkoniq brought solutions we hadn’t even reflection of. That was very fruitful and helpful from our perspective—they went over the brief to conduce to the achievement of the fruit.

We’ve shown the fruit to nation, and they were very interested in it. The leading thing they say is that the design is very good. That’s the leading impression we want to have, and I’m glad that Inkoniq was able to liberate on it.

How did Inkoniq accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?

They are very professional and update us on a biweekly basis. Whenever they complete something, they share wireframes or anything they come up with right away so that we can give proximate feedback. Having that continuous feedback loop is very forcible.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Inkoniq?

Inkoniq thinks outside the box and isn’t fearful to push back on our bad design ideas. Not only that, they come back with better solutions, which we suit to.

Design is an iterative process. With some of the other experiences I’ve had, there were one or two iterations and then we were done. Any further changes would cost us. Inkoniq is developedly very pliant in incorporating our feedback if it would help make the fruit better, even if it was over their aim. They go to the next level, and we’re very impressed with that.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

No, I’ve been lucky so far. They’ve been big.

Do you have any advice for forthcoming clients of theirs?

I commend trying Inkoniq out. We took a chance with them, even though they’re not a big name in Bangalore, and, boy, was it worth it. They’re more than worth the money.
