Intended to start as an electrical engineer he found his passion for programming during the study at university. Never failed it since then for more than 10 years already. Hes also a believer – believes in Math and the existence of rational ways. At Squads hes helping teams to bond together and achieve better collaboration with customers.

Working with a handful of disconnected freelancers can be ineffective and time-consuming. For distributed teams this can also be an isolating process. We want to help startups and development experts form cohesive teams that effectively collaborate on projects build businesses and share revenue.
Squads began as a StarterSquad project but we quickly identified a greater need for a team-matching platform. When we developed team management capabilities and budget reconciliation services our platform started gaining interest from a variety of customers. We decided to scale up the initial platform to create a public product version and eventually launched Squads in 2015.
Here at Squads communication is everything. With a 95% remote team our Slack platform is at the heart of everything we do. We also embrace video conferences for face-to-face communication to brainstorm and check in with each other.
Occasionally the Squads network meets up during our company retreats. Together weve been to the Alps and the Mediterranean and we cant wait to see where the future takes us!
Our platform and community of 45+ development teams is built on Agile principles. Inspired by Spotifys use of Agile we created a unique project development approach for digital products.
We also follow the Lean Startup methodology to build measure and learn loops with our clients. Weekly sprints set the pace for quick learning and help customers get a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) as early as possible.
