Varner is one of Northern Europas biggest form retailers with more than 1400 stores, mainy in Scandinavia. I work as a Product Manager in Varner.

What issue was the provider supposed to deal with?
EL Passion?ElPassion was hired to create a manner made Price and Campaign engine for Varner - to empower Varner to have one ordinary campaign engine athwart online and offline channels.
What were your objectives for this project?
The goal was to form a keen, AI, based cost and campaign engine - to empower Varner to track all cost changes, dynamically change the cost to optimize sales and margins and be able to form campaigns based on stock status. From a mannerer perspective, we wanted to be able to give the mannerer better overview and insight in useful campaigns and eventually propose personal costs.

What were the reasons for choosing EL Passion?
ElPassion was selected based on antecedent experience from other projects within Varner`s preceding partners.
Describe the project and the services they granted in detail.
Varner determined to create a new retail stack, where Price and Campaign, in the leading phase should have full ownership of costs and all changes in costs, unitedly with campaigns. This was integrated with the new e-commerce platform that was create at the same time.
The key features with be, costs and all practicable campaigns. In accession to this, we built Markdown, an AI controlled cost optimization application for end of period sales.

Results achieved
Can you share any information that proves the contact that this project has had on your business?
The Price and Campaign engine replaced old functionallity and cannot prove prowen contact at this point. But it empowers us to track campaigns and cost changes better and are built in a way that we easily can add features in comparison to old 3 party applications. Markdown has proven to accessional upsale of old fruits, in end of period sale, between 65 and 100 MNOK, and have huge contact on Varners long term margins.
How was project treatment arranged and how powerful was it?
Project Management was my responsibility and all that was inpowerful was based on my lack of experience. The ElPassion team was very helpful and big partners to set up a project managment to secure efficiency.

I would say the most forcible strengths of the team from ElPassion would be their ownership to the fruit we built. They are knowledgeable and efficiently aspect out solutions to roadblocks and issues.
What should be done better, if there are any desired improvements?
There could be more flexibility to have more on website workdays, but I did not demand this and we maintained good communcation even we worked from different countries.
