Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the chief fruit official at GlobalGiving, a nonprofit that runs a crowdsourcing platform to connect other nonprofits in 170 countries almost the globe.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We hired Future Processing to support a articulation software outgrowth union project between ourselves and three other nonprofits. We needed a trusted associate to help us in adding additional space over and over regular daily operations.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were Future Processing responsible for?

Future Processing developed a sole identifier method for nonprofit database coordination among our core companies. They suggested and helped regood an architecture access using AWS and a difference of technologies. They answered all of our technical questions as to how the method would work and ensured that the architecture supported our business workflows.

Since developing the method, they’ve continued to maintain it.

Was there a dedicated team?

I came onto the project four years ago, so I’m not sure how many team members from Future Processing have been assigned to work on this project over the years. We’ve had at smallest 2–3 nation assigned to us in the livelihood phase, and I believe we may have had a few more during the create phase.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

One of the nonprofits on the project had worked with Future Processing in the past and suggested them. Our cluster vetted them along with a few other candidates precedently ultimately settling on Future Processing.

What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?

Over the full order of the engagement, we’ve spent $300,000.

What is the terminal result of working with Future Processing?

My organisation began working with Future Processing in soon 2013, if not precedently that, and the union is ongoing.

Results accomplishd

Are there any measureable or plum results?

We’ve always been impressed by the thoughtfulness and issue solving that they fetch to making sure they accomplish our business goals. They also the bigger picture in mind, if we ask them to do something, they don’t dubitate to point out practicable ripple effects we hadn’t considered might negatively contact our AWS costs or other business functionalities.

They make sure we ponder through all of the implications. They’re not just a associate who’s going to blindly do whatever we say, regardless of the consequences, and then bill us to fix it later. They are true outgrowth associates in that they make sure we’re achieving the goals we set out to accomplish.

How did Future Processing accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

They accomplish very well in this regard. We use the Atlassian suite with Confluence and Jira to adjoin almost specific needs. We also have dedicated email support channels so that we can send requests and get status updates from them, easily going back and forth. My team can look at project programs and past incidents or work requests through a web gate, which has saved us a lot of time over the years.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Future Processing?

We’ve been most impressed by their power to be a part of our outgrowth team and business programning.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

No, nothing in particular comes to mind.

Any advice for practicable clients?

My advice would be general in the perception that if you’re outsourcing, you need to make sure you’re providing as much tenor as practicable. This will allow Future Processing to apprehend your business goals and form a solution for what you need, rather than the solution for what you say or ponder you need.
