Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the ruler of software engineering at Savvy Aviation. We prepare separate services, including livelihood, breakdown help, and engine analysis, to little aircrafts.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Logicify?

We proposeed our services on two websites: Savvy Analysis, where we served the engine analysis business, and Savvy Mx, where we tended to all of our other lines of business. My organisation wanted to merge our two websites and propose all of our services on one unified website to make it easier for clients to navigate our services. Because our services are so sole, we couldn’t deploy any off-the-shelf systems, so all of our software is manner-made. We needed to outsource outgrowth support to a vendor that could work with our manner software and prepare reasonable prices.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

My team prepares the specifications and uses a ticket-filing process to give Logicify different tasks to work on. They accomplish these tasks and exhibit pull requests, which we review. The team is primarily using Python Django, but they’re also deploying AWS and JavaScript on the client side. They prepare QA, and we’ve also outsourced scheduling and programning to them.

Was there a dedicated team?

Dmitriy (Fullstack Developer, Logicify) oversees outgrowth. We also work with a part-time QA project ruler who helps handle and program the aim of the work. Dmitriy gives this personal the code he’s worked on, and she does some testing on the QA and origination servers precedently liberateing the code to us.

How did you come to work with Logicify?

I establish Logicify on Clutch.

What is the terminal result of working with ?

We began outsourcing to Logicify in December 2018, and the work is ongoing.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

My team’s pace of work has increased since we began working with Logificy and outsourcing QA and some of the scheduling and programning to them. Now, when we take code from them, we don’t have to test for bugs, instead, we can centre on whether this is what we want and what changes we might wish to make. This allows my team to centre more on strategy, new features, and long-term programning.

How did Logicify accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?

We’ve established a collaborative process. Logicify is useful to review and debate their work if certain, although their coding and liberateables very rarely need correcting. The team prepares daily progress updates, and we adjoin well. For entreaty, we gave Logicify a little task that they were putting too much time and effort into, and they fastly changed order when we alerted them of this. Their ruler sets up monthly calls with me to debate the project and fix the team is handling questions and issues well.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

They liberate high-condition code and solutions. We very rarely need to send code back to them.  Having worked with different other developers, I’ve establish that most engineers need a lot more direction to get to this level of condition. The engineer we work with is incredibly mature. It’s specially helpful that we don’t have to microhandle see bug and task, as this allows my team to centre on other related work.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

I don’t have any complaints. So far, I’m very pleased with all of their work.

Any advice for possible mannerers?

No, they’re pretty straightforward to work with. When I haven’t had time to give them directions, they’ve been good at figuring tasks out.
