STORY:
At the very beginning we aimed at one factory, around which we started to build a pilot solution.
It was about building a platform to negotiate and analyze prices and visualize all the information needed to make a decision about a specific product.
Because of the scale, it was necessary to conduct workshops, trainings, re-model processes, define clear roles. We used Value Stream
Mapping to understand the process at every level of business. The operational process itself was arranged in an intuitive way in the application so that we could reflect the state of the company and react quickly to any changes in the processes.Then we successively built further modules of the solution.
It is worth mentioning the use of company resources, including Azure Data Lake cloud.
RESULTS:
- Reduce the decision-making time from 1 month to 1 week
- Understanding of business processes has led to a unified digitisation strategy
- Real-time visibility of all relevant parameters reduces the need for reporting to zero
- Introducing the possibility to compare prices of products from different sources in real time
- The introduction of Lean solutions in the process has made it possible to measure process efficiency and cost savings of 30%.
