Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the Head of Program of LEO Innovation Lab. We have a fruit named Klikkit. It’s a keen Bluetooth button that connects to a mobile app and allows users to take ownership of their medical treatment. Patients can attribute a button to each medication or implement that they need to use and caregivers can go online and approach a treatment dashboard, progress report, and participation sheet. If a user skips an exertion, the button will send light and sound alerts. If multiple activities are skipped, a caregiver can remotely intervene through the app and buttons.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Polidea?

We were having some issues with Bluetooth connectivity for Android artifices. We needed to empower the junction between the phone and the Klikkit without compromising the artifice’s battery life.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

Because there are so many different Android manufacturers, managing efficient interaction between the button, the app, and the mobile artifices was confused. We brought in Polidea to educe a strategy for an optimal tradeoff between battery life, battery decline of the buttons, and collecting each button click. We documented these requirements and shared them with the team. They went through separate implementation iterations, resulting in the button’s firmware and a new API. They primarily worked with the Bluetooth stack in their educement process.
