Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Polidea?

We ran a crowdfunding campaign. We needed a software outgrowth team to liberate a intricate fruit, both hardware and software, within four months.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

At a kickoff workshop, they clarified our needs and tried to apprehend the user experience that we wanted to prepare. They helped us with our UI/UX design at the commencement, then implemented a desktop app, a mobile app, a open API, and a scalable backend. Both apps use Bluetooth to adjoin with our hardware artifice. They helped us with the full aim of outgrowth and implementation.

Our fruit helps nation get their timesheets done and tracks their time at work. The Bluetooth hardware artifice has eight sides. People can attribute different tasks to each side, then flip the artifice to show the agility they want to track. The artifice connects to the computer or smartphone using Bluetooth. They developed the desktop app, the mobile app, and the total backend method. The apps track time, handle the artifice, attribute activities, handle activities, form reports, ship reports, and strain data.

The mobile app was made for iOS and Android, and the desktop was designed for Windows and Mac. The two main technologies are Electron with React. All software outgrowth has shifted to our in-house team. Polidea now prepares condition arrogance support and dedicated software testing.

Was there a dedicated team?

They ramped up a team of eight nation to help us to liberate the fruit within four months. At the commencement, we interacted with the CEO and CTO. The CTO acted as our project handler and main touch. On our side, we had a CTO and project handler. Our CTO spoke straightly with the developers.

How did you come to work with Polidea?

Before the crowdfunding campaign, we launched a beta rendering of our desktop and mobile app that we had developed on our own. We used an open-source React Native strain library that Polidea maintains. We establish that library on GitHub. When we had more outgrowth support needs, we determined to ask them for help.

Everything was fantastic. They met our target date and milestones, and the condition is big.

How did Polidea accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?

Communicating with them was very single and easy. We used Jira, email, Slack, Google Talk, and Google Spreadsheets, along with Zeplin and Sketch for design files and GitLab for code livelihood. They’re very reliable, submissive, and pliant. Whenever we faced big challenges or needed more resources, they didn’t dubitate to add more nation to the project.

We’ve met them in individual four times. Once we held a release party unitedly.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

They cared almost the project and our users. They didn’t feel like a labor organisation. They felt like a team within our organisation, which you don’t find a lot.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

It’s harder to adjoin if you’re collaborating remotely. That can always be improved.

Do you have any advice for possible clients?

Don’t be intimidated. They aren’t as emotional as you would anticipate nation to be, especially as a U.S. client. Culturally, Polish nation show very few emotions.
