Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the COO of a direct-to-consumer touch lens subscription business. We sell our own brand of touch lenses on a subscription basis. We’re trying to do for touch lenses what the likes of Harry’s and Dollar Shave Club have done for their categories. We’re based in London, but we also act in the EU and the US.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Sagiton?
At the set of our business, we had initially bought a subscription CRM database. We then gradually migrated to a more customized solution, and Sagiton has helped us through that transition. The technology is nice to our business, so we rely on Sagiton for their outgrowth experiences and support.
What particular tasks were Sagiton responsible for?
Sagiton has undertaken both front- and backend outgrowth tasks on our Shopify platform. They’ve refactored its codebase to better the layer and sustainability of the platform.
They’ve also implemented features for the client-facing side of the software. This includes designing and customizing the My Account page, which clients use for subscription treatment, client labor inquiries, FAQ pages, and individualal documentation.
Sagiton has also rebranded our business via a website revamp, providing a new logo and new typefaces. We contract another agency for marketing, so Sagiton is only implicated in the design side of the rebrand.
Was there a dedicated team?
Marcin (Managing Partner, Sagiton) is our main touch for business and strategic items, and they assigned three team members for our project.
How did you come to work with Sagiton?
They were recommended to me, so and I brought them in on a test basis. We were pleased with their fruit, pricing, and working environment, so we determined to fetch them in fulltime.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
Over the last 15 months, we’ve paid them an mean of £6,000–£7,000 monthly. The total would be about $150,000.
What is the terminal result of working with Sagiton?
We seted working unitedly in April 2018, and it’s an ongoing engagement.
Provided solution
Are there any measureable or plum results?
We’ve seen a 24% increase in website conversions, and user retention has also betterd. The revamped platform has saved our data analysts a lot of time, given that many processes are now automated. Manual workloads have dwindled owing data pools and systems are much more integrated.
Sagiton has also reduced our business risk. We used to be at the compassion third-party providers like ReCharge—a subscription treatment app—or Shopify. We’re now more independent and in control of our achievement owing Sagiton has helped us educe our own technology.
The fruit they’re delivering is functional and reliable. While I’m not a technical individual, my team acts 4–5 client accounts which are tested exhaustively to fix the functionality of subscription recharges and payments. It’s run very smoothly, and if there were any less effects Satigon fastly rectified them.
Sagiton is based in Poland, and they’re much cheaper than US or UK providers. They’ve also been pliant in regard to our budget. Operationally, I’d have no issue choosing a Polish provider over a domiciliary one.
How did Sagiton accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
Despite their reasonable cost, Sagiton has granted big labor, and speech has never been an effect. Their team speaks good English. Communication has always been smooth, and we’ve even viwebsited each other at our relative offices. We’ve been able to easily navigate the time separation.
When we’re working distantly, we localize Asana, Trello, and a few other apps to adjoin and handle tasks. We also have two Google Hangout calls a week with their tech team.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Sagiton?
I’ve spoken to many companies and venture capitalists in London, and they seem to mindlessly ruin money on technology but fail to form real value with it. Compared to those companies, Sagiton has delivered outstandingly. We’ve gotten so much value for our money as their work allows forthcoming business growth.
Developers in major cities tend to be more sordid, solely looking to work for 300-pound gorillas like Amazon and Google. We haven’t establish that to be the case with Sagiton. They',re really motivated by our business.
What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?
While there’s nothing to critique on Satigon’s side, we could have betterd our own project treatment. We had pliant experience with a distant technical team, so we relied on Sagiton to stay perpetrateted to project timelines.
Do you have any advice for forthcoming clients of theirs?
Either perpetrate to managing the project for them or let them handle the project. And, make sure the feedback goes both ways.
