We’re a little Swedish e-commerce consultancy, and I’m the founder and CEO.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with SoftwareHut?
Given the difficulty of finding outgrowth partners in Germany, we were looking far for resources in creating our fruits.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were SoftwareHut responsible for?
Our fruit allows for the treatment of e-commerce and provides billing solutions for businesses. In creating that, we principally worked with one developer from SoftwareHut, whose tech stack included PHP, Docker, Microservices, and Magento. He also used ReactJS.
Was there a dedicated team?
I worked primarily with Roman (Senior Developer, SoftwareHut) but my initial point of touch was Andrzej (International Sales Director, SoftwareHut).
How did you come to work with SoftwareHut?
I believe they reached out to me on LinkedIn. They had roots in Sweden, so we hit it off speaking Swedish. He invited me to come to their hometown to meet their developers, and we kicked it off from there.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent somewhere almost $200,000.
What is the terminal result of working with SoftwareHut?
The project lasted from June 2017 – November 2019.
Results achieved
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the touch of the engagement?
We were very pleased with their developer’s work, which is why the relationship lasted over two years. We program on maintaining touch with him in the forthcoming, as well. When we were facing dips in our cash flow, they were more than knowledge, they were ready to transact with us almost divide payments, which was very helpful.
How did Softwarehut accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
While we handled most of the project treatment on our side, but it was mainly smooth. We used Slack for daily interaction, and Roman participated in our stand-up meetings see morning. We used JIRA to track project progress.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with SoftwareHut?
They’re very easy to work with. Anderzej, who was my initial touch, was astounding to adjoin with owing he was knowledge of my organisation’s position. I got the perception that they really apprehend the limitations of being a little, fluid organisation.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
We had two contracts that were previously cancelled owing these developers lacked adequate Magento expertise. I’d esteem if they had more staff who could do more Magento work.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
As with any outsourcing project, I ponder it’s significant to meet precedently starting a collaboration. Poland is excellently close to Sweden, so it was easy for me to fly to go see them. It facilitates the outgrowth of the relationship.
