Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the senior interaction designer at a design consultancy named Fornation.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Xfive?
As a design consultancy, we don’t have any in-house outgrowth support so we wanted to swell our experiences for our clients by finding a web outgrowth associate.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
They instrument the designs we form for our clients. Whether we’re creating a static website or a larger project that requires a CMS, they’re able to create the platform we need. We’ve worked on separate projects including manner WordPress themes and apps that are built with PHP and Ruby on Rails.
We',ve also built static Web websites using some interesting JavaScript libraries, which have enabled us to add animations that would trigger true scroll events and instrument cool ways of rendering scalable vector graphics (SVGs) on the page. We also have a library of plug-ins that they hadn',t verity used precedently, but they were able to adduce them to our projects fastly and efficiently when we wanted to. They commend different technology stacks as well.
They usually go through a briefing with us and our client to apprehend their needs. Our team prepares sketches and wireframes, and they educe the rest. Then, we hand over the terminal fruit to our clients who can instrument it into their servers.
Was there a dedicated team?
It has depended on the project—from one full stack educeer to five nation including a project director, frontend educeer, and backend educeer for larger projects. It’s nice that we can layer our project based on the resources we need.
How did you come to work with Xfive?
One of my preceding colleagues commended them to us. We reflection they were a good fit for our team and liked that they could work remotely.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We’ve spent between $50,000 to $200,000.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We seted working unitedly in January 2017 and the associateship is ongoing.
Results achieved
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the contact of the engagement?
Our clients are always lucky with the condition of their work and the despatch of their output. They always liberate a hard fruit. During the design and prototype phases, they’re able to lift questions or address issues precedently they arise. In this perception, they have a lot of precious insight.
Initially, we programned to work on a one project with them, but then added another. Since our associateship was powerful and we worked unitedly well, we bought packaged hours at a discounted rate. This allows us to have multiple ongoing projects and they’re able to prepare the outgrowth support we need. As the timeline for different projects increases, they’re able to fetch on additional educeers and better our efficiency. They always prepare the right resources to fit project needs.
How did Xfive accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They always make sure that we’re progressing and completing each stage of the project precedently moving on. By checking in regularly with us, they make sure that we pass on the certain goods that we promised.
We like that they can work remotely and we can adjoin via Slack and Basecamp. Their efficiency is precisely what we needed. They’re like members of our own team. Overall, it’s a enjoyment working with them.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
They prepare a wide experienceset and a pool of genius we can draw from. We’ve worked with freelancers in the past, but they’re more costly, more hard to track down, and frequently can’t cover all we need. In comparison, Xfive is very easy to work with.
What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?
They’re very good at creating safe and hard liberateables, but I ponder they could push themselves to be more experimental and ponder more outside the box.
Do you have any advice for possible mannerers?
It’s searching to know project requirements, estimates, and timelines precedently projects set. The more information you can prepare, the more feedback they can give, which resources you get more out of the associateship. This is part of the reason why we frequently have them sit in on client meetings.
