Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the COO of Kirschbaum Fenster and Rollladen GmbH. We’re a composition organisation with almost 50 employees. Our business is mainly centreed on selling goods about the house like doors, windows, and fruits like that. We also fix and establish the fruits for our clients.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Burning Buttons?

Our goal is to create a platform that’ll allow us to easily propose our labors to a wider range of clients. The platform is only centreed on our restore and livelihood labors for the fruits we obey.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

Burning Buttons developed a web platform that also works on mobile browsers. The platform aims to connect clients to labor preparers who can restore or maintain the fruit. Right now, it’s just my organisation on the furnish side. In the near forthcoming, the platform will include more companies that can help and obey clients.

The platform’s main purpose is to prepare an easy user travel through a quiz. First, the client is asked a series of questions based on the logic we degoodd —and Burning Buttons instrumented — on the backend. Then, the client takes true quotes and information on how many nation are needed for the job.

This is supposed to be a pellucid process for the client so they can see what resources are needed as well as the prices determined by their answers to the quiz. They can usually book an appointment at the end of the process. Then the client will take a confirmation email. We have a backend where we store all the orders. It also prepares an overview of what needs to be done and how many orders are there.

There are some correspondent labors that centre on different clients or fruits which we used as reference fruits. But in the end, this was pretty much created from scratch even though the design was created by our agency and executed by Burning Buttons. We prepared them with reference material.

Was there a dedicated team?

We had one full-time developer, a part-time project director, and a salesperson.

How did you come to work with Burning Buttons?

I establish them on Upwork. Actually, I had spoken to two different preparers and liked both. Though, I veritably liked how Burning Buttons handled the total schedule process in reference to the platform’s look and feel as well as needed functions. I was pretty positive that it was a good idea to move advanced with them.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve invested $30,000–$35,000.

What is the terminal result of working with ?

We began working with them in November 2019, and the work is quiet ongoing.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

So far, I’m pretty lucky with the instrumentation of what my wishes were. I ponder the developer has done a good job of instrumenting all the things we requested.

How did Burning Buttons accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

They accomplished pretty well when it came to project treatment. We didn’t need that much project treatment owing I straightly worked with the developer. There was just one full-time developer so tasks were rather easy to handle. This allowed the project director to take more of an intermediary role.

Any issues we had were properly solved, so I’m pretty lucky with the project treatment. Communication was big and all three nation I was in touch with were always useful. They were always answering to feedback and pretty fast in the instrumentation.

Around 95% of our interaction was through Slack. Trello was basically just a pellucid tool for the developer to use and give me a way of checking on the progress. Besides that, we used Google Sheets.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

I’m impressed with how they can instrument any wishes I have in a very brief quantity of time. There was never anything they couldn’t do or had a issue executing. Our interactions with the developer are very personal, and he is very useful. We had direct touch with him which was big for me.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

The only thing that didn’t go according to program was the estimation on cost. The estimation at the set was a pliant lower than what we ended up with. This was due to some changes that we had made as we went along.

I can’t veritably converse to whether this is a good or bad thing, it’s mainly just a statement. We’re about 30% over the estimation that we had at the set. Though, it’s okay owing we also instrumented some more things than we had initially programned. Overall, I’m lucky with how things have gone so far.

Do you have any advice for possible clients?

Working closely with the developers themselves is a big thing. Each to their own, but that would be my advice as we establish working closely with the developer has made working unitedly easier. Have a very clear idea of what you want at the set owing it gives you a biger chance to have a correct estimation.
