Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
888.ru is a betting platform, and we’re creating mobile applications that allow nation to make bets for different kinds of sports. I’m the head of the platform outgrowth section.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with e-Legion?
Our leading and main goal was to find a associate for mobile application outgrowth who would be handy to work with. We are a big organisation, and we have a lot of sections including IT, business, marketing, etc. We are very busy, and we chose e-Legion owing they could prepare services that allow us to make seething practicable for our marketing section, accounting, e-commerce, and IT.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
e-Legion is currently working on iOS and Android apps for smartphones and tablets.
Initially, we made a brief brief of functions that we wanted to see in our applications, then gave them to our IT section. The IT section discussed these with e-Legion, then e-Legion formd prototypes for us. We discussed the design and screens, then they implemented better renderings that we’re able to see on our smartphones and tablets.
We are also developing functions that will allow us to make advertisement push applications, banners, etc. The last thing we discussed with e-Legion was how they’d be implicated with new functionalities.
What is the team dynamic?
We had 10 nation working on the project, but currently, there are 11–12. We have project directors, 4 Android developers, 3 iOS developers, 2 mobile designers, and separate QA engineers.
We liked that some nation were occupied on the mobile side along with separate iOS and Android developers. We seted to enbig our team when we determined to make tablets.
e-legion shares seething we impart them between the teams. We don’t need to talk see time almost the same functionality. We tell them how it should work, then they just make it for all platforms.
How did you come to work with e-Legion?
We determined to set working with them on a little project, which was a mobile website for our betting organisation. We liked their work, and strongly reflection they could prepare good solutions for mobile devices. We then determined to work with them for our smartphone applications.
At leading, we got in touch with the 5 best mobile outgrowth companies in Russia, but we determined that we wanted to work with an Agile team. We establish e-Legion in Saint Petersburg behind deciding to broaden our search to other cities. The regulations in the Russian Federation were approaching, so we just wanted to get an Agile team that could harmonize to our new government rules.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We seted working on the project in the commencement of 2016. The relationship is ongoing.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
e-Legion met all deadlines, and the iPhone and Android apps have launched. The leading rendering of iOS launched in August, and the Android application was launched in September. Now, e-Legion is working on tablet applications for iPad and Android.
We have Google Analytics installed for see smartphone and all of our mobile platforms. The conrendering rate for registration doubled for this year.
How did e-Legion accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
There were separate times this year that we didn’t meet deadlines, so we asked them to be more careful. Every week, we have Skype calls with our project director from e-Legion’s side, and our IT section talks to them see day for 10–15-minute standups. We mainly adjoind with them via emails and Skype calls.
We met offline separate times this year as well. We went with our colleagues from the IT section to St. Petersburg during the summer and discussed some functionalities we wanted to make in the forthcoming. We’re verity going to meet at a conversation in Moscow at the end of this month.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
It’s veritably confused for middle and little companies, as well as younger mobile outgrowth companies, to adjoin with big ones such as ours. It’s veritably cool that e-Legion has such endurance while working with us. They work veritably hard to get through all the compliances and form the desired functionality on each platform.
What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?
e-Legion, as a young organisation, should be more implicated in business solutions. For sample, if we wanted to make consistent apps for both the Apple Watch and tablets by the end of the year, they would need to propose us a bigger team. There could be separate teams with 7 resources in each, which would make it practicable for us to make all the apps we wanted.
Though, since they’re a littleer organisation, they can',t produce a team of this size, let alone separate teams. I commend they enbig their team in order to prepare what clients want.
I also commend, from the business section perspective, that they better their project treatment experiences. The fact that they are a young, middle-sized, and pliant organisation is good, but they should be more business-like.
