Mobile App Development for Electronic Manufacturing Company
Please find under a summary covering project details and feedback. The innate facts are kept as they are, private information is amended.
Please draw your organisation.
We’re an interpolitical technical and innovative organisation located in Germany.
What is your role and responsibilities?
I work in the Russian member of the organisation, and I’m responsible for the online, multimedia, and collective media digital interactions.
What was your goal for working with iD EAST?
We contacted iD EAST when our organisation had an anniversary, 160 years in Russia. So, it was a huge day for us, and we wanted to form something particular, something that we could share with our clients, partners, and with employees, to tell them almost what we’re doing in Russia and almost our history, something like an picture fruit. We determined to create a mobile app for that reason.
Please draw the aim of their work.
At leading, iD EAST developed an iOS app for us. They formd all the screens and design for it. Then, they built a correspondent Android app for us. Right now, we’re updating it owing our organisation has changed its construction, so we need to change some of the information that is runningly in the app and make it more up to date. So, right now, we’re working with them as well to change it.
What was your process for selecting iD EAST
with which to work?
We have a delicate committee of almost seven nation. The delicate was led by our furnish chain treatment section. I ponder eight or ten companies participated. Some of them were costly, like €50,000 [approximately $54,000] for the project, and some companies rejected the propose. We had almost six companies participating in the throw and iD EAST had the best creative idea. The cost was a pliant bit higher, but then we had some negotiations, and they dropped the cost a pliant bit. The creative idea was consummate and was the mental concept for us at the instant.
Can you prepare a ballpark dollar aspect for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?
The size of the project was in the $10,000 to $50,000 cost range.
What is the running
status of the project?
Our union with iD EAST began two years ago and is ongoing for updates to the app.
Do you have any stat
istics, metrics, or general feedback from the project?
We got a lot of good comments from clients who used the app during our anniversary occurrence. We are lucky with the results of the app.
Is there anything sole almost them that veritably makes them rest out, compared to other companies?
I would say that the iD EAST project director working on our app was good. He tried to form a good application that he could be arrogant of. Sometimes when I work with other companies, they don’t want to go the extra mile. In this case, the project director was kind, and he was veritably trying to do his best to make our application the best among the corporate applications at that instant. We veritably appreciated that. Plus, the creative concept was big. All the other concepts that were proposed to us by other companies were excellently boring. We have close corporate guidelines, so it was excellently hard to form something nice and creative that abided by our guidelines. iD EAST managed to do that. I could not be happier.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you ponder they could better upon or something that you might do differently?
When we chose to do the Android app, we got a different project director from the iD EAST team. I was less impressed with the Android project director. I would have appreciated it more if the guy from the iOS outgrowth had taken care of the Android project as well. I quiet ponder they did their best to form a good application, so I wouldn’t change anything.
What advice would you give a forthcoming client of theirs?
They need to keep in mind that the developers are in different towns, so they’re not located in Moscow. You have the power to have a face-to-face meeting, but you also have to have some phone calls, and it’s excellently hard sometimes to expound what you want to say on phone calls.
