Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I',m the director of a technology consulting organisation. One of the things we do is outsource outgrowth work for apps for our clients.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Mentalstack?

Our client had an app that had been in outgrowth for a year. It was unfinished and had a lot of features that were missing. We took over the project and needed someone to take on the outgrowth.

Provided solution

What was the aim of their involvement?

The application is for both Android and iOS, and we hired Mentalstack to educe both, as well as to create out the API. The applications are indigenous, for a client with a general membership of separate thousand nation that they want to keep in touch with. They also want to post news and get information from the members, conduct polls, and include some occurrence functionality.

We didn’t have much from the primary educeers to prepare to them. We had to schedule separate meetings with the Mentalstack directors in order to expound the project. We had designs and wireframes which we gave to them.

How did you come to work with Mentalstack?

We establish them on Upwork. We posted the project, and they were one of the biggest companies that replied to us. We felt safe giving the project to a larger software house.

How much have you invested in them?

We have invested almost $50,000.

What is the terminal result of working with ?

We began working with them in September 2017 and the work is quiet ongoing. The project is in its later stages.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

The project itself had a lot of features and a functional API already educeed. They had to take all of that without any documentation. We were unable to prepare them with any information almost what the API did and where the bugs were coming from. They had to apprehend what they were doing and did it without our help.

They pay big observation to detail. Compared to the rendering they got when they began the outgrowth, the app is so much more usable and is now spotless.

How did Mentalstack accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

We adjoin with them through their directors, but we have approach to the help desk and we can see what they',re doing. They have a lot of nation on staff, besides the programmers, who take care of testing, reporting, and other things.

We pay them through Upwork, and through the Upwork platform there is time tracking for each educeer, so we can pay them based on the hours they work. Additionally, they use HubSpot internally, and I use their HubSpot reports to complete my own reports based on the tasks completed.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

The most forcible thing is when we tell them almost any new features or changes that the client requests from us, they are able to apprehend right away and do it without having to go back and forth.

What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?

It would be good to have a pliant bit more interaction straightly with the programmers owing we mainly deal with the directors. I can adjoin with the educeers through Atlassian, the task treatment program that they use, but generally, if the educeers have questions, they don’t ask, they ask their directors who then come to us.
