On a basketball court in one of Gothenburg#39;s gyms the ZenDev founders met for the first time. Similar life goals and paths led them both to study software engineering at Chalmers Technical University. Apart from their shared basketball passion they also had a connection with their Balkan heritage. Nikola Mirkovic our Sweden born CEO has family roots from Montenegro while our CEO Senad Santic was born in Bosnia amp; Herzegovina but moved with his family to Sweden in his early childhood.
After graduating from the Chalmers Technical University they have started to explore and master separate IT fields and with gathered knowledge they decided to reunite again to build innovative business models. Subsequently they have concluded that the market requires progressive and innovative solutions. At the same time a more personal mission arose - the aspiration to give back to the Balkans.
