Founded in 1994 Equus is a Singapore-based design company with a unique offer focused on unlocking the true potential of your brand and delivering a unified brand experience in any context. At the heart of our offer is a rare combination of design thinking and emotional intelligence with a breadth of services which is difficult to match. We work with a broad range of clients across a region spanning from East Asia to the Middle East and in partnership with local agency Garam also have a base in Jakarta.

With more than 30 years of experience in the branding and design industry Andrew is the founding partner and creative director of Equus.
He has developed hard-won expertise in brand consulting identity creation and communications design working with clients across Europe and South East Asia. His award-winning creative leadership has put Equus on the global design industry map.
His alter ego is as a nostalgia freak restoring classics back to their retro glory be they old cars bikes or houses. His latest project is a 1960s Vespa.
Chay Hwa is a founding director of Equus with extensive experience in international design consultancy management.
A finance director by training she heads the client servicing team and steers the business development effort as well as overseeing finance matters. Chay Hwa keeps us on our toes and helps achieve project objectives on time and on budget.
She de-stresses through baking bringing in the results for all the studio to enjoy - in her next life she plans to be a patissiere.
A consummate strategist and brand evangelist Colin Anderson leads the strategy team at Equus.
With broad experience across Asia Australasia and other global markets he has worked with senior leadership in corporates large and small across almost every business sector. After three decades of consulting on strategy design communications and branded experiences he believes that the brand should be the organising principle of any organisation product place or even a country.
A veritable human dynamo in a former life Colin was a radio DJ which explains his ability to talk the hind leg off a donkey.
Florian or ’Flo’ as he is popularly known has over 17 years experience in branding marketing and client services.
With his previous background in the airline industry architecture and journalism he is passionate about the brand experience and the influence branded environments have on consumers.
Away from his desk hes often collecting vintage items for which he doesnt have space for planning his next weekend adventure or organising regular steak and wine dinners for his friends.
With over 20 years experience in the branding industry working across a diverse range of clients from multinationals to local startups Koh Hsiung leads the design team at Equus.
With an award winning track record as a designer creator thinker and storyteller he is always passionate about a new creative challenge and is not afraid to get his hands dirty.
When hes not designing Kok Hsiung moonlights as a foodie. For him great food is like great design - when you put your heart and soul into its creation it touches peoples lives.
