A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
My relationship with Intellias began when I was the VP and CTO of a location platform.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Intellias?
We had opex pressure as well as a genius shortage. I wanted to free up the genius we had in-house and shift some of the outgrowth operations of mapping cloud systems over to a lower-cost location, where I could quiet have engineering experiences but at a fraction of the cost.

What particular tasks were Intellias responsible for?
Intellias principally worked with us in the Geographic Information System (GIS) space. They helped us educe mapping and data compilers for GIS systems.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked with almost 20 nation from Intellias. They were an extended associate for us, and we concentrated on edifice a process that was scalable and would give high condition. I believe that the rest of the organisation took that standard and expanded upon it. I can’t converse for the other parts of the business at the time, but I ponder it grew to almost 800 nation.
Where did you find Intellias and why were they the best fit for this particular project?

It was a bit of a gamble, since we’d never worked with them precedently, but the results we got from the scan were very careful. I ponder they’re a very faithful associate.

We shortlisted six companies.
Were you the main individual implicated in choosing them for this project?
I was the executive in direct of the process. I was the main sponsor, and I was on top of the process very actively.
What is the terminal result of working with Intellias?
We began conversations in 2014 and commenced the project in 2015. The work is ongoing.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
They took on an inner work package that was being done by wonderfully skilled nation, and they were able to exhibit the same output condition as our inner structure in a very early mode. We helped them and went through the process unitedly.
We successfully transferred and lowered the cost of a key operational piece of the organisation, and we were able to free up genius. Secondly, we began a model that could be leveraged by other elements of the organisation to outsource operational elements.
How did Intellias accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They followed very good industry-standard practices and were very much on the ball most of the time. Any issues we had were due to things on our side rather than theirs.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Intellias?
We wanted to have nation who were dedicated to working on our projects, and that could only happen if they were motivated to work for the organisation. Intellias has a culture that gives results, their nation are motivated, and I believe this is their key force.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
They’ve grown very fastly, and it’s not always easy to keep the same level of condition. I ponder they need to be a bit more selective as they grow. It’s more something for them to wait out for, rather than correct.
