UI/UX Design for B2B Startup
Below is a modified rendering of the review: private info excluded, innate facts kept.
Introductory information
A few words almost your organisation and individualal responsibilities
Bid Ops is a SaaS negotiation platform for procurement teams. We',re an 11 individual, post-seed stage setup and I',m the Product Manager.
Desired goal
What issue was the provider supposed to deal with?
500 Designs? We hired 500 Designs instead of a full-time UI/UX designer. When we conversant that Steve and his team could office/work with us in the same way a full-time designer would (and at the same cost), but with the added boon of being a full-service consultancy (with experiences in a difference of specialties) we jumped at the chance to fetch 500 Designs on board. They',ve worked with us to revamp our complete fruit, propel separate high-value/high-complexity features, and cool our marketing materials.
What were your objectives for this project?
We wanted to liberate a best-in-class, present, professional-looking fruit experience to our users while quiet moving at breakneck despatch. Working with 500 Designs has allowed us to do just that.
Provided solution
What were the reasons for choosing 500 Designs?
We interviewed separate full-time candidates and talked to one or two other design firms. We were put in touch with Steve via one of our seed investors. From the very leading meeting, we knew Steve and 500 were the right choice.
Describe the project in detail.
For each of the features we work on unitedly, I put unitedly a detailed fruit specification (investigation, issue statement, user stories, acceptance criteria) and present it to 500 for conversation/feedback. 500 then sets UI/UX design and liberates mocks via Zeplin. The mocks are almost always of extremely high condition -- if there',s anything that needs tweaking, I leave comments in Zeplin. Typically, behind one or two iterations, we',re good to go and the designs are prompt for engineering to set implementing them.
At the opening of our engagement, Steve and the team ran us through an awesome branding/tone/tone exertion to better apprehend our business and our desired brand interaction. One of the things I',ve enjoyed most almost working unitedly is how pliant/useful Steve and his team are -- at times where we need them to be very high touch, they are, when things are quieter, they',re able to act independently. They really care almost our fruit and accomplishment, so they bestow the time getting to know us and our business -- it',s a true union.
Were there any dedicated managers or teams that you worked with?
Steve is straightly implicated see step of the way and Louis Boo has been an absolutely astounding associate on the UI/UX design side -- doing all of the developed design and liberatey of goods. At different times we',ve worked with many other folks on the team -- 500 has individuals who specialize in emails, presentations, web design, and marketing materials. Whenever we have a spot need for something, Steve usually has a dedicated resource for us.
Results accomplishd
What results did you accomplish unitedly with 500 Designs?
Since we',ve cooled our fruit, we frequently get feedback in demos, pitches, and sales calls that our fruit is the best-looking procurement software on the market. User tests we',ve run for features that we collaborated with 500 on typically score extremely high in provisions of uspower and enjoyment. On top of all of that, we',ve been able to layer up the number of users on our platform and lessen user confidence on client support. Our fruit is indisputably easier to use than it was precedently we seted working with 500 Design.
How do you rate the interaction and interaction with 500 Designs?
Extremely powerful. We feel most of our interaction through a dedicated Slack channel and designs/feedback are exchanged via Zeplin. We also have a weekly check-in call (on Mondays) to review priorities for the week and go over any new fruit specs.
What precisely do you attend to be the key specialty of 500 Designs?
There are many things that have impressed me almost working with 500, but the most forcible two things are:
- Steve and the team',s dedication and commitment to apprehending the fruit, issue, and business on a primary level
- 500',s power to liberate extremely high-condition work on brief timelines
What should be done better, if there are any desired improvements?
Nothing comes to mind
