It was 2001 when Dale Morgan founded ASTOUND in the spare bedroom of his Burlington home. Working in the exhibit industry for most of his young career Dale quickly identified the potential in servicing niche markets that larger fabrication companies did not target.
Despite the risks involved with competing against larger more established design houses with greater resources he set out with an innovative sales strategy to target smaller companies at specialty trade shows. The first show that Dale targeted was SEMICON in Japan and his consistently high standard in service design and fabrication quality quickly elevated ASTOUND as the preferred exhibit partner for the exhibition.
The first client that Dale acquired was Naizal. The booth was designed in the Burlington residence and built in the backyard using a modular truss system. When the booth was finished being staged and tested Dale flew to Japan to install the booth himself. Since that first project where Dale was the sales representative creative director and site supervisor ASTOUND has grown to be a disruptive industry leader with over 500000 square feet of fabrication space and a staff of 300 dedicated experts.
