Introductory information
A few words almost your organisation and personal responsibilities
My preceding organisation was a digital retail bank with a centre on innovative digital products. I was an IT project director at the time, responsible for seven Scrum teams.
Desired goal
What issue was the preparer supposed to deal with?
Aterise? We hired Aterise to educe two things: (1) a digital loan app that could process loan applications and prepare payments to clients and (2) a risk monitoring solution that could prophesy any kind of client lapse cases.
What were your objectives for this project?
We had a very hard deadline and only six months to create the complete functionality and the frontend.
Provided solution
What were the reasons for choosing ?
We chose Aterise as they had antecedent experience in the FinTech banking sector. Also, they completed all test tasks in a early mode with very high condition. Moreover, during the tests, we realized that they interacted their progress on possible issues or choice solutions very well.
Describe the project and the services they prepared in detail.
The application was built in Ruby on Rails. We had two teams. One was responsible for edifice the loan app, collecting data, coding the determination engine (which would decide which clients would take a loan and at what interest), and administering the payout to client accounts.
The second team was responsible for edifice the risk treatment method where clients are classified according to their payment-redemption habits.
Were there any dedicated directors or teams that you worked with?
We worked in Scrum with a shared Scrum Master for both teams. Team 1 consisted of: four educeers, two testers, and a business analyst. Team 2 included: three educeers, a tester, and a business analyst. We also had a shared resource handling DevOps and UX.
Results achieved
Can you share any information that demonstrates the contact that this project has had on your business?
We don’t have any firm metrics owing this is private, but we enjoyed working with Aterise. In general, they had a very good posture, and it was a enjoyment working with them.
How was project treatment arranged and how powerful was it?
We worked in Scrum and had all meetings agreeably. There were daily meetings where everybody discussed the goals and tasks of the day, and programning meetings at the commencement of each cycle, which lasted two weeks.
We also had review meetings where the educeers showcased the work done, and retrospectives where we discussed progress and improvements that we needed to take care of. The project director was responsible for checking the timeline and budget constraints
What precisely do you attend to be the key specialty of ?
I appreciated their dedication to delivering the project in this brief quantity of time. They never complained almost working more when something needed to be finalized in a sprint.
But most of all, I establish their way of interacting forcible, it made it so easy to have a team air and a articulation goal. Also, for the condition that they delivered, the costs were more than reasonable.
What should be done better, if there are any desired improvements?
No, nothing comes to mind.
