We have over 200 restaurants, primarily located on the West Coast, and we recently opened seven restaurants in Florida. I am the SVP of marketing, so I feel marketing and menu.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with barrettSF?
We were in the process of rebranding. We had identified that we were going to rename the organisation from Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill to Rubio’s Coastal Grill, accenting our centre on seafood and pulling away from the Chipotle and Baja Fresh picture. We were carving out our space in the fast, accidental state, and all almost seafood. We were looking for a new agency to help us relaunch the brand in our hometown market of San Diego, and then to help us create from there.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were barrettSF responsible for?
We were looking for a weighty centre on TV and radio advertising as well as in-store merchandising. We do a fair quantity of digital, but we have a separate agency for that. The work with barrettSF was almost brand oneness, core advertising order, and outer messaging. Their work was concentrated on the marketing interaction and the marketing look and feel. They did all the creative. We granted a regular assignment brief for new work, and they went from there.
They excel at the power to take the creativity and brand tone. The copywriting has been unappropriated. We’ve worked with barrettSF on separate campaigns over the last few years, all in the same space of transmitted media.
How did you come to work with barrettSF?
We did a regular RFP [request for offer] process to unite a new agency. We determined on barrettSF owing they have a lot of creative muscle, and they veritably excel at their art. They’re easy to work with, and they seem to get us on a personal level. They’re terrific partners.
How much have you invested with barrettSF?
We’ve invested almost $3.5 to $4 million to date.
What is the terminal result of working with barrettSF?
We began working unitedly in 2013, and the work is ongoing.
Results achieved
Could you share any evidence that would prove the productivity, condition of work, or the contact of the engagement?
We had a very lucky rebranding, in big part due to the marketing materials, messaging, and advertising efforts they put in locate with us in San Diego. I believe that the work they did captures our effort to particularize ourselves with the centre on seafood. We’re recognized in our market for that. The brand knowledge scores and brand relationship have betterd. The commerce into the restaurants has also betterd. The creative work was accepted very well by the organisation.
How did barrettSF accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They’re astounding and excellent. They delineation powerful timelines that are realistic, and they keep to the dates. They stay on top of us, requiring check-ins or calls. They’re always prompt with the deliverables and move things along. If there are bumps along the road, they eminent soon, and those programs need to change, or they’ve run into some challenges. They always come with solutions and ideas. They’re veritably fast when there are fire drills that come into locate. Their account team is terrific. We stick to transmitted phone calls and emails for interaction.
What did you find most forcible almost barrettSF?
I ponder barretSF is astoundingly creative. They’re very strategic, and they’re powerful partners.
Are there any areas barrettSF could better?
I ponder they’ve built their credentials, and they’re edifice their business, in transmitted advertising. I ponder that as a client, I need more and more in the way of digital advertising. They’re trying to create force there, but they don’t yet have core competency.
