Jeff has long been at the center of developing and commercializing open source software related to Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
Before co-founding Bloq to develop blockchain solutions for a multi-chain world he spent five years as a Bitcoin core developer and ten years at Red Hat. His work with the Linux kernel is now found in every Android phone and data center running Linux today. Jeff serves on the advisory boards of BitPay BitFury Netki and WayPaver Labs.
Among the earliest contributors to Bitcoin the 15678 BTC Jeff gave away in developer bounties for the then-nascent project is today worth six-figures in USD.
In addition to co-founding Bloq Matthew is also the founding partner of Tally Capital a private investment firm focused on digital assets and blockchain-enabled technology with a portfolio of market leading companies including Binance Block.One Blockstream Orchid Factom and Qtum.
He serves as the chairman of the Chamber of Digital Commerce the worlds first and largest blockchain trade association as well as on the board of BitGive a non-profit foundation that improves philanthropic impact with blockchain technology.
Hadley is responsible for guiding product strategy and growth for Bloq as the company expands its vision of developing vital infrastructure services for enterprise companies and blockchain-native businesses. Hadley joined Bloq after seventeen years at Fidelity Investments where he most recently led the cryptocurrency and blockchain incubator within the firms innovation lab including the launch of Fidelity Digital Assets.
Previous roles at Fidelity included innovation strategy and product development leadership. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2001 Hadley led the User Experience team at the Boston office of Razorfish. Stern authored the book iPod and iTunes Hacks through the OReilly Media Group and holds 16 patents for a variety of technologies and business processes.
Phil leads communications and marketing across Bloqs corporate brand its core product suite and the projects affiliated with BloqLabs. Prior to joining Bloq in 2018 Phil was a senior vice president at the Edelman PR firm and the leader of its global blockchain center-of-excellence. There he guided the worlds largest communications firms initial explorations across two generational technology shifts: social media and blockchain.
In his near-decade in Silicon Valley prior to Edelman his work helped guide clients to win the Technology Pioneers Programme Award at the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland. Twice. Known for PR industry ’firsts’ Phil is widely considered to be the first PR professional to start a blog (2001) and the first to describe and demonstrate the value of blockchain technology in communications (2015).
Jake McCorkle leads the Bloq sales team and drives global software sales. He brings to the position a very successful career track of 20+ years in enterprise sales with a focus on working with the top Fortune 100 companies.
His expertise includes global network infrastructure enterprise software and data center services and management. He is known for creating long-lasting partnerships and programs that drive the customer experience.
Jordan has a background in data science and first started researching blockchain related problems in 2012 during graduate school at Georgetown University where she earned a Masters of Science in Bioinformatics. Jordan joined Bloq in February 2016 and has since led a number of Enterprise wallet projects. In addition Jordan serves as a research fellow at the Chamber of Digital Commerce. She was named one of the 30 most influential and interesting women to follow in blockchain technology.
Louis Goldman is the general counsel of Bloq Inc. and also the managing partner of Navigator Law Group a boutique law firm that has done significant Mamp;A and securities work with startups blockchain companies and venture capital/angel investing groups. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California Berkeley with a degree in economics and then obtained a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School (Order of the Coif and cum laude).
In New York City Goldman worked for Cleary Gottlieb and also established a merchant bank Abacus amp; Associates LP where he was a managing director. In Chicago he was the Co-Chairman of Altheimer amp; Gray where he opened 10 offices outside of the U.S. and managed a team of 450 people. He also was on the management and investment committees of four private investment funds of Aamp;G Investors. He was a cofounder of JustWrite EMR an electronic medical records startup.
In addition to running Bloqs venture studio BloqLabs Alice guides corporate development product strategy fundraising and investor relations for Bloq and its mining-management spinoff Titan. Prior to joining Bloq Alice spent several years at Deloitte in Technology amp; Strategy consulting where she worked within the payments and blockchain verticals and spent much of her time exploring applications and new business models for blockchain AI and other emerging technologies.
Alice has worked with leading institutions in financial services (RBC TD CIBC Interac HKMA) luxury hospitality (Four Seasons) and healthcare/pharmaceuticals (GlaxoSmithKline Public Health Agency of Canada) providing strategic product and operational advisory services.
Matt leads the product direction and strategy development for the Bloq platform having originally led the companys early enterprise efforts. Previously Matt was a leader within Deloittes consulting practice providing business strategy and technology advisory services to a variety of clients including global financial institutions and insurance companies.
Matt was also instrumental in building Deloittes Canadian blockchain practice and emerging technology innovation lab.
