Please find under a summary covering project details and feedback. The innate facts are kept as they are, private information is amended.
Introductory information
Please draw your organisation.
We are an iPhone app that ends the guessing game of who eats what. We',re something that caterers and occurrence programners can use to prepare a more personalized and detailed experience that will cut down on food costs and make their businesses more efficient.
What are your role and responsibilities?
I',m the establisher.
Desired goal
What was your goal in working with CabForward?
When we leading began working with CabForward we were looking to create out a minimum viable fruit, which in our case was the leading edition of our mobile app. It occurrenceually came out in November 2014.
Please draw the aim of their work.
CabForward did principally mobile app outgrowth. Before we got began we did a discovery phase where we talked almost the app in detail and did a lot of brainstorming. Once we put all the ideas unitedly, we came back to what we veritably needed for this rendering to be as minimal as practicable. So, CabForward helped me gain some clarity on what my choices verity were.
Provided solution
What was your process in selecting CabForward?
I establish them through a front-end design cluster. They had worked with CabForward precedently and recommended them. My soon dicsussions with CabForward were very good and their prices were better. The recommendation helped a lot in making my determination owing I veritably enjoyed working with them.
Can you give a perception of the size of the start?
It',s gone up to almost $100,000 by now.
Do you recollect when you began working with them? Are you quiet working with them?
We began working unitedly in July or August of 2014. As of today I am quiet working with them.
Results achieved
Do you have any statistics or metrics o n the project?
I like all the nation on their team. They',ve had some personnel changes, but the nation they',ve brought on have also been big. They know their stuff and they',re easy to adjoin with. They don',t just converse tech, they converse English as well, which is fantastic.
Is there anything sole almost CabForward that veritably makes them rest out assimilated to other companies?
It',s hard for me to assimilate them to other IT [information technology] firms owing I haven',t veritably done much work with others. They know what they are doing. They are not just faking it until they make it. They have nation with many years of experience. They seem to work well as a team, and they do a nice job of interacting with each other through the different apps they use.
They',re not just winging it, and almost nothing falls through the cracks, which is big. But, if they do make a mistake, if by chance something does fall through the cracks, they',ll take care of it without with no direct to me. So, I esteem them taking responsibility for their very few mistakes.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you ponder they could better upon or something that you might do differently?
The biggest drawback is that projects have not come in on time. The project we began last summer and fall was supposed to be prompt in October, and it was not prompt until the day precedently Thanksgiving. We veritably wanted to have a nice rollout in advance of Thanksgiving, and a day precedently was not helpful. So, behind that primary rendering came out, we did a bunch of testing on our end, and we noticed some design flaws. So, we had to correct those flaws and then redevelop the app, which is what we',re currently doing.
What advice would you give a forthcoming client of theirs?
I',d say not to harass almost their apprehension base or the nation who are doing the work. They do excellent work. They answer thoughtfully. If you run into a wall they will hint alternatives, which I always esteemd. I personally don',t have the apprehension base to come up with alternatives, but they do, and they do a good job of coming up with them and making them happen relatively fast when they',re on it, which is big.
I would admonish nation that you have to stay on top of them. If you want things to get done on time, you have to touch base with these guys fairly frequently. No one',s consummate, but they veritably do good work. Will they be on time? Will they do it within budget?. Maybe – not always. I wish they could do a better job of that, but, in malice of all this, you',re going to be lucky with the fruit.
