Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with CURTIS Digital? 

We hired CURTIS Digital to help us educe an online video condenseion platform named COGO.

Provided solution

What was the aim of their involvement? 

CURTIS Digital helped form a cloud-based platform that allowed users to condense videos using our proprietary technology without losing a lot of condition. Their team supported us athwart the full educement cycle, from programning to implementation. After edifice the wireframes, they implemented the designs and helped with front- and backend educement.

We leveraged separate core technologies and infrastructure, including AWS, Iron.io for back-and-forth messaging between servers, Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, Stripe.js for payments, and manner APIs for forthcoming integrations.

I worked straightly with John (Founder &, CEO, CURTIS Digital) and a project coordinator. There was also a team of programmers working in the background, but I didn’t have much touch with them.

Our CEO shared a reciprocal junction with John, so we knew them by word of mouth.

How much have you invested with them? 

We spent between $45,000–$50,000 for this project. The initial budget was $40,000, but we requested some changes, which increased the costs.

What is the status of this engagement? 

The platform educement lasted from November 2014–January 2015.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the contact of the engagement? 

Although the terminal fruit worked beautifully, we weren’t as lucky on our side due to our business standard. AWS had changed its Spot Instance pricing, which negatively affected our income. In the end, we determined not to move advanced with the project.

How did CURTIS Digital accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

We primarily stayed in touch through email and had customary meetings see week or so. They were big at being answering. I could call John at any time, and he’d be sure to call back.
