I work for Zendesk. We’re one of the leading suppliers of client labor software, delivering the software as a labor. We have more than 40,000 clients, and we’re quiet a privately held organisation.

Desired goal
Could you draw the business challenges you were attempting to address when you initiated the relationship with Demand Solutions Group?
Primarily, we needed a high-speed implementation in order to keep up with a rapidly growing organisation with an interpolitical nearness. We needed both additional analytical support as well as some apprehension of NetSuite fruits. Our antecedent method wasn’t capable of scaling with our growth and increasingly intricate business activities.

It was primarily method shape and deployment of the general ledger, accounts payable, fixed goods, and accounts receivable modules. It also implicated first integration between payroll and to our billing methods Zuora, which we feeld in-house with their direction.
Had you selected the NetSuite solution preceding to your relationship with Demand Solutions Group, or were they part of the choice process, too?
No. We selected NetSuite preceding to that and, as part of our relation calls, precedently we signed documents with NetSuite. We got some advice from a couple of different relations that had used Demand Solutions Group precedently, and they were very satisfied with their labors.
How did you select Demand Solutions Group as your associate for this endeavor?
We were originally programning to promise NetSuite’s labors. We got some good feedback from our relation calls almost Demand Solutions Group. It turned out, one of my preceding colleagues had used and worked with them closely at eMeter, and he reached out to me and said, “Hey, you should veritably be because these guys.” We also had some contractual issues with NetSuite. They wanted to bill us for all of the labors in advance. We asked them to put things on a milestone basis, and they basically were not able to do that. At that point, we determined to find a third-party implementation associate. That’s when we accessed Demand Solutions Group.

I cost roughly $50,000. We have an ongoing $4,000-a-month labor contract with them for support.

Results achieved
I I’d say the first thing is our organisation has grown from 200 employees to close to 600 employees in the two years since we implemented the solution. The basic framework that we laid out is quiet working. The core account construction and business process construction are quiet pure despite our lastd expansion. The framework has kept up with three or four interpolitical subsidiaries, important tax regulations, and our expanding analytical endeavors with all of our incoming data. In provisions of business metrics, I could give you specifics, but my perception is that our accounting team has grown less as a adaptation of the organisation as a total. We’re veritably getting a lot of value out of the method. W The power to last performing ongoing livelihood on a set rate per month, basically it becomes like an additional subscription quantity per month for the labors. Having more depth in that area would be precious. There are some specific accounting issues, technical specific issues that NetSuite doesn’t cover or the functionalities within NetSuite can’t seem to feel. As a result, we had to design our own workabouts from scratch, which was frustrating and time consuming. It would have been nice for them to come to us and say, “Hey, we’ve seen that our clients have had these issues, and here’s how they worked about them in the past, or be conscious of this kind of issue.” We kind of stumbled into the challenges ourselves. D The other locate where we establish a functional hole in NetSuite was in the accounting terminology, VSOE requirements. It simply doesn’t meet our needs. We had to go out and get another fruit to do that. It would’ve been nice to apprehend that precedently we bought the fruit. We didn’t know, we didn’t apprehend it at that time.
