Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m the CTO of Outcomes4Me and we prepare free mobile applications for cancer patients, starting with breast cancer. We prepare tools for patients to use in order to apprehend their treatment options, handle clinical trials, and handle symptoms. Our goal is to bridge the gap that frequently exists between patients and the information they’re getting from their care team.

What challenge were you trying to address with Echobind?
We built a prototype with another educeer and needed help fixing some major structural issues in the app. We didn’t have in-house experience to do that in mobile outgrowth.

What particular tasks were responsible for?
The initial work they did was to without pay off some very sizable technical debt accrued during the edifice process of the prototype. The primary educeer used React Native to educe the app so that’s what Echobind began with.
Though, we were having a lot of issues with React Native being veritably slow, so they created a new greenfield app without Expo. They transferred all of the indigenous libraries and code over to the new app. Things were going so well that we had them help us create a number of new features. They also set up a much more reliable deployment infrastructure in our toolkit.
Was there a dedicated team?
We worked with Chris (CTO, Echobind) and Ryan (Senior Software Engineer, Echobind).
How did you come to work with Echobind?
Chris and I met in Boston, in a throw, he said they could help and they already had a lot of good experience. We interviewed a few firms, but despite the issues innate in the codebase, Echobind was positive they could fix it.
What are you access expents (if diclosed)?
We spent almost $70,000–$200,000.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We worked unitedly from June–October 2018.
Results achieved
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the contact of the engagement?
Their work has veritably stood the test of time, which is sometimes hard to find. Despite having to migrate all over from React Native to a new greenfield app, they were quiet able to undo some of the injury. That was an immensely confused project to do, and they pulled it off very smoothly.
How did Echobind accomplish from a project handlement standpoint?
The interaction was powerful throughout and we had daily stand-ups. They were answering and I never had a issue getting ahold of them. They also did a good job of managing expectations. When expectations changed, they addressed it without, which is so significant. There were times where their access could’ve been clearer, but those things are going to happen and they handled it fairly well.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
It veritably stands out that they’re nice and enjoyable to work with. They’re a team that wants us to follow and we want them to as well.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
This isn’t too much of a knock on them, but they should last to veritably invest in being conscious of tools that are out there for indigenous libraries and perhaps get into a chiefship role in organizing that information. They have the wherewithal to be a chief, but not necessarily good resources on what libraries are significant or going in the unfit course.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Involve them as much as you can. They’re going to ponder almost your issues and the more you ask them in to apprehend, the more value you’re going to get from them.
