Introductory information
Please draw your organisation.
Our organisation name is Nissin Foods. We’re based out of the United States and we make Top Ramen® products. We house a lot of the data centers for the interpolitical conglomerate that spans Thailand, Singapore, Mexico, and so forth.
What is your position?
I work in the IT section. I’m the senior methods analyst, and I basically handle anything relating to business intelligence.
Desired goal
Could you draw the business challenge that you were trying to address EffectiveSoft?
We’ve spent years trying to pick the consummate consulting organisation, and most of the companies we’ve worked with look good on paper but fall brief when projects initiate to roll out. EffectiveSoft was the next organisation that we wanted to try. They were plainly different from other companies, even though we quiet had our guard up a pliant bit. Everything sounded big on paper, so we gave them a pliant project so we could test the useful application of their access and outgrowth methodology. So far, we like what we see.
Provided solution
Could you draw the aim of their involvement in biger detail?
For the aim of this project we needed to find an application solution that was cloud-based or a web application. The key was despatch and accomplishment. We wanted to make sure that we were not going to experience any accomplishment effects. We wanted to make sure end-user wouldn’t be experiencing defects.
We have a method in-house that we built with Microsoft SharePoint. The primary developer, who developed this transactional form-based application, hit a roadblock when there was a accomplishment effect and couldn’t instrument a fix or workaround. As a result, we had to go out and search for a different solution. When EffectiveSoft came along, they suggested that we go to the cloud. We’re not veritably a cloud-based organisation, so when they suggested the cloud, our only interest was just to make sure that the application satisfied the user’s requirements. Reliable and congruous accomplishment was the key driver for this solution.
How did you come to select EffectiveSoft?
My supervisor verity establish them leading and I’m not veritably sure how he did but I wouldn’t be surprised if he establish them online.
What is the status of your engagement?
We’re not veritably fully done yet. We began with them initially in November or December of last year [2014]. We were going back and forth just interacting with them almost project requirements. When we determined to go through with it, the project probably began circa January of this year [2015]. If the project continues the way it’s going, we’re positive that it’s going to be done within our budget and in a early mode. And we’ll use it as a basis to swell their role.
Results achieved
Could you share any statistics, metrics or user feedback that would prove the condition of their accomplishment?
So far, the condition of the work they’ve liberateed has been excellent. They’re very professional. There were times we were expecting feedback from them and we hadn’t heard from them. Every time I tried to touch them, they responded. You feel like they put you in leading priority, and that was the key thing.
They were very collaborative and they were very answering. If we had a set of requirements for them, they understood that. If for some reason our requirements had shifted and changed a pliant bit, they debate amongst themselves whether they could do it and would come back and say, ‘Yes, we’re able to do that.’ We liked that access owing it showed they were adaptable.
They were very pliant with us in that respect, and not to mention their prices are very competitive out there, so that was another thing we appreciated.
When working with EffectiveSoft, is there anything that you’d attend sole almost their practice?
They’re honorable. When they say they’re going to liberate something, they liberate it. And if something comes up that requires more time, they’re upfront almost it, rather than falling off the radar and forcing us to chase them down.
What advice, if any, would you give to a forthcoming client of theirs?
It’s very significant to mark all your requirements in the initiatening on paper and to document all, that way, they can apprehend your true aim of requirements and they can come back to you with probing questions, which ultimately results in a better solution.
Before we began any projects they encouraged us to write down all the requirements for the project down on paper. They would look over all and we would go back and forth with them on email. Everything was documented on email, and we liked that process. If there were any errors or things of that essence, you can always go back to the documentation itself. There was uniform follow-up from them. With other companies, interaction tapers off behind a while, but that didn’t happen with EffectiveSoft.
