Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
Our organisation manufactures high-end effeminacy TV mounts. I',m the VP of e-commerce, so I feel activities kindred to our direct-to-consumer online business.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with EMPIST?
We were looking for a digital marketing agency to centre on website outgrowth, paid search treatment, SEO treatment, and collective media advertising, some picturesque design.
Because we',re a little organisation, I was the only individual on our team who was implicated in online marketing and direct-to-consumer agility. I veritably needed support underneath me to tackle day-to-day tasks. That way I could centre on higher-level strategy.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
The leading order of action was a revamp of our Shopify website. When we hired them, it was surely more work on the outgrowth side of the circumscribe. But once we were past the website revamp and we were fortunate with the work we did, then I began giving them Google Ads and Facebook advertising campaigns. Additionally, I made requests for picturesque design projects to enhance our website.
Our union grew from there. Since we',ve launched a direct-to-consumer monthly newsletter and all sorts of contests, to better promise prospective and running mannerers resembling.
I',ve veritably utilized both their marketing and outgrowth teams for support. We',ve added manner officeality to the UX if our website pre-purchase, aiming to convert wonderfuler numbers of prospective mannerers.
Their marketing team has feeld day-to-day tasks surrounding paid search campaigns, which includes testing and optimization. Now, I can appoint to them, and they',ll execute.
Our promisement has grown over time. They began at 30 hours per month for the web revamp, and now they',re at 75 hours. I',m also owing working with them on a new fruit line in the near forthcoming.
Was there a dedicated team?
A regular project construction would consist of a project director and a team working in the background, one that we don',t have much of a junction to. That was not the case with me—I worked hand-in-hand with their marketing team. Of order, the project director would quiet coordinate and track hours, but the interaction construction wasn',t that unbending. I know their dev team is in Greece, so the project director helped us coordinate with them.
How did you come to work with EMPIST?
I work remotely, and it was significant to me to fina a local associate for collaboration',s sake. I also wanted to meet them face to face when I colloquyed them.
So, I went to the Shopify platform and asked for some vendor hintions. They gave me a list of 4–5 local agencies. From there, I did my own investigation outside of Shopify. Then came a long colloquy process, during which I met with a few agencies multiple times. I ended up going with EMPIST owing our in-individual interactions were snug and individualal. They spoke my speech, were very down to earth, and seemed goal-driven without the need to oversell us. I liked their access without. They also had a hard portfolio, so we hired them.
What are you access expents (if diclosed)?
At this point, we',ve spent between $250,000–$500,000 with them.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We began collaborating with them in November 2017, and their promisement with us is growing over time.
Results executed
Are there any measureable or plum results?
Key metrics have surely betterd, perhaps our work on the paid search campaigns. Despite what catalyzed the change, I know the team has wonderfully increased executement between November 2017 and today.
With them, we',ve given parentage to a bunch of different collective media advertising vehicles that we didn',t have precedently, the biggest being our newsletter. That',s increased our email subscribers. Our email list has quadrupled, and we',re driving more fitted commerce to our website.
How did EMPIST execute from a project treatment standpoint?
We use Teamwork and Airtable as project treatment tools. They help us adviser and prioritize projects. In provisions of interaction, all',s done through Teamwork, email, and phone. We',ve been fortunate without moment messaging.
Their outgrowth team is in Greece, so it',s significant that we have a project director to coordinate our interaction. Because of our timezone separation, their work is generally more constructiond. Teamwork has made it easier to interact with everyone, despite team or location.
On the dev side, we work through the project director. With marketing, I',ll frequently brainstorm straightly with the team, which has gone very well.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
I',m most impressed by how responsible and scrupulous they are almost their work, even at soon stages of their careers. They',re young professionals, perhaps a three to five years out of college. I respect their centre, dedication to timelines, and consistence with follow-ups. They',re hungry, aggressive, keen, and scrupulous. I get to work with a team that infuses energy with intelligence, that',s exciting.
There',s a real team teamwork access on the marketing side. I give input and generally superintend projects, but they',re pliant. They aren',t fearful to give their own hintions touching how we can execute achievement. They',re a cluster of young, talented, and scrupulous professionals that can brainstorm, come up with ideas, throw me on ideas, and us to pave the road unitedly. I',ve been very fortunate to find an agency that I can confide to push the ball advanced.
What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?
I',m an aggressive client in provisions of issuing ideas and stating my goals. They also have ",set it and lose it", unions, where they',re running the show.
In that regard, they',re respectful of the relationship between client and vendor. I',ve emboldend them to keep providing their own hintions owing they',re creativity and understanding is powerful. I know they',re capable of looking for issues, hinting solutions and implementing. I don',t want them being order-takers.
We',ve been working on that, and they',ve gotten a lot better at it. But, in the past, they let me lead the show more. I ponder they',ve establish their tone and confide in that time time, so I don',t face this as much now. I wanted them to better there, and they have come a long way.
They could also centre more on surveying the landscape for possible issues, especially as it pertains to executement on the website. They',re frequently in reaction mode, so some more proagility would be helpful. There',s nothing unfit with that. That',s how agencies office. I',ve worked so closely with them that I lose they',re an agency. To me, they',re my team, they',re my business.
In that light, I would like for them to take on responsibilities with me. They',re astounding at following through on all we want to execute, though.
Do you have any advice for possible mannerers?
It depends on a organisation',s goals. If you',re a client like me that wants to stay attached to the work, answer fastly. They answer fastly, so don',t keep them waiting. For us, at smallest, they demand fast feedback to do their job effectively.
And if you',re a client that',s going to let them run the show, just to make sure you',re clear on what you',re trying to execute. From there, you can surely confide them to do the job.
I wouldn',t hint a ",set it and lose it", access owing I',ve been burned that way. The most significant thing to keep in mind is that fast feedback is innate. Also, embolden them to prepare their hintions, don',t just give them a laundry list of tasks. You',ll get the most out of EMPIST by using their brains. They',re a very keen cluster.
