What challenge were you trying to address with ENGAGENCY?

We needed treatment and administration services for our outer client-facing websites. Our relationship with our antecedent vendor didn’t work out due to lack of interaction and transparency. As a result, the apprehension of how to update and maintain our websites was entirely outer. 

We wanted to fetch the testing, livelihood, and update services back in-house. We brought in ENGAGENCY to help us with the transition using their engineering and outgrowth expertise.

ENGAGENCY reverse-engineered our website’s livelihood and update release set-up with virtually no documentation from our antecedent vendor. They helped us form documentation from scratch.

The team then worked with us to create a roadmap towards fetching our outgrowth, QA, and release treatment process back in-house. ENGAGENCY helped mark what capabilities we needed to educe. They also leadd to better leverage our investment in Sitecore through an audit of our Sitecore implementation. The results helped us determine which areas required fixes, updates, or modifications. 

One process we’re changing is how we address round changes. We want staff members to be able to harmonize graphics and other elements straightly without educeer intrusion. ENGAGENCY also determined that we’re running an older rendering of Sitecore that lacks official support in AWS, we program on updating the CMS shortly.

We then worked with their client account treatment team to onboard key engineering resources from their end. We brought in ENGAGENCY formally in August 2018, and our combined teams took over treatment of the websites fully in mid-December 2018. The union is ongoing.

Our combined teams took over treatment of the websites fully in mid-December 2018. They are now more reliable, and we have wonderfuler visibility into their backend. Previously, unprogramned outages took days to aspect out the root effect. Now we can find the exact cause easily with our monitoring method.

We also gained control over our QA process and release treatment.
