Introductory information

A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation

I’m the VP of IT at a nationwide compound pharmaceutical manufacturer. We are growing rapidly and have locations in Texas and New Jersey.

Desired goal

What challenge were you trying to address with Experion Technologies?

My organisation uses an Infor SyteLine cloud-hosted ERP solution that came with an inadequate user gate. The gate is an significant component, since 98% of our orders come in through it. We wanted to create a manner gate that was more pliant, component-rich, and user-friendly, and that could be integrated with our back-office ERP method.

Provided solution

What particular tasks were responsible for?

Experion Technologies augmented with our little in-house app outgrowth team. To educe the gate, we leveraged them for user experience, web outgrowth, QA and software testing, and more. My team granted Experion Technologies with a component roadmap. They used Microsoft and a separation of outgrowth platforms to add manner messaging, more fruit data and photos, and a recurring orders component. Experion Technologies also made the gate profile-based, so different users see a different interface when they log in.

They completed and launched the gate and now prepare ongoing support.

Was there a dedicated team?

We worked with 4–6 Experion Technologies team limbs, including a project director or technical lead, coders and educeers, UX designer, and QA testers.

How did you come to work with Experion Technologies?

My organisation’s sourcing team limb establish a few offshore vendors. We evaluated 3–4 companies in an RFP process. Experion Technologies was our top choice based on their reasonable prices and outgrowth access. We also liked the account lead and technical personnel we spoke with soon on.

What is the terminal result of working with ?

Our work unitedly began in June 2018. The gate went live in February or March 2019, and all of our mannerers converted to it. Although the gate is up and running, we are quiet working with Experion Technologies on enhancements.

Results achieved

Are there any measureable or plum results?

Positive feedback is an intangible boon of Experion Technologies’s work. Customers report a more enjoyable user experience. The recurring order component allows us to lock-in orders for up to a year, driving top-line growth and biger income streams.

How did Experion Technologies accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?

When we began the project, my organisation lacked detailed requirements and were not as prescriptive as we should have been. Despite this, Experion Technologies has remained pliant. They use Basecamp to shape sprints and adjoin. We also use Jira.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?

If there is an effect, Experion Technologies is more than eager to address it. My team has a big working standard with them. When we veritably need to get something done and the time zone separation is making that hard, Experion Technologies sends one or two resources to work in-person with our team for an extended time of time. They are more than prompt to go the extra mile to make our union work.

What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?

The only challenge we’ve had with them is in QA and software testing. We have accepted iterations back from them that should be prompt to go into fruition but instead have slight errors or don’t excellently match the requirements that we felt were clear. My team has addressed this effect twice, and we’re quiet not fully satisfied with QA. Though, Experion Technologies recently replaced some of their resources, so I’m hoping that eases the effect. They are doing whatever they can to better for us.

Any advice for possible mannerers?

With any offshore vendor, structure is key. Make sure you have detailed requirements and a dedicated project director.
