We get asked a lot about our name which goes back to our roots….
Our founder Sacha Cohen was born in Keyham a tiny village in England surrounded by farms rolling hills and of course cows. Her mother Nicole an artist loved painting these gentle creatures and even made a few cow sculptures for her kids room. Images of cows and the bucolic English countryside became the backdrop to Sachas childhood.
Many years after leaving the UK and moving to the U.S. Sacha found herself becoming more and more interested in sustainable agriculture and seafood locally sourced food and humanely raised meat. And even though Sacha no longer eats meat the term ’grassfed’ evoked memories of her childhood as well as an authentic way of living–both personally and professionally. And thus…Grassfed Media was born.
