About HatchHaus Design Design company in Boston, United States
Im Diana Laird a bi-lingual graphic designer brand advocate and owner of HatchHaus Design. I was born and raised in Heilbronn Germany and came to the United States in 1987 to improve my English…and Im still here!
I started my career in the U.S. in Maine—living The Way Life Should Be in Portland while working at a cutting edge design agency ImageSet Design. I then moved to work at an in-house design department at IDEXX Laboratories an international biotechnology company where I helped them grow for many years. While there I had the opportunity to work in many diverse media on a wide variety of materials—ranging from package inserts to full-blown promotional campaigns.
In 2006 I relocated to Boston to join my husband. Being here has enabled me to take advantage of all the exciting things this city has to offer. I started my freelance graphic design career which has given me a flexible schedule that enables me to explore this great city with its thriving design community and culture of innovation. I love making things look sharp and Im a stickler for functionality. I pride myself on making sure the message is absolutely clear the audience distinctly identified and content presented in an original engaging and logical way.
On a personal note…I recently trained for and ran a half-marathon (no not the Boston Marathon!) Traveling is a big part of my life; visiting my family and friends back home is on my list-of-things-to-do every year.
I enjoy working with like-minded people toward a shared goal. If you are looking for a reliable organized and friendly graphic designer with fresh ideas who loves her work then contact me.
Cant wait to meet you
