Herzog amp; Co. is an Emmy Award-winning entertainment company and a leading marketing and creative content producer based in Los Angeles.

We produce critically-acclaimed original programming for network cable and digital outlets as well as continue to produce robust marketing campaigns and creative content for all major studios film and television properties as well as top-tier brands. Our ’mini-studio’ model encompassing our design production and post production departments allows for an innovative story-telling process that produces high quality and extraordinary content for all audiences.
CEO Mark Herzog is an Emmy Award-winning producer and director who founded Herzog amp; Co. in 1995 and quickly saw it become an industry leader in entertainment marketing and creative content before expanding into original programming and documentaries. Recent projects include The Witnesses and The Forgotten West Memphis Three for Oxygen the Webby-winning podcast Chasing Cosby in partnership with the LA Times and the second season of the Dirty John scripted series Dirty John: Betty for USA Network. In partnership with Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman Mark produced the 12-hour documentary series The Movies for CNN as well as the Emmy-nominated Decades series The Sixties The Seventies The Eighties The Nineties and The 2000s and the four-hour event special 1968. For ESPN Mark produced two series for the 150th anniversary of college football The American Game and The Greatest. In partnership with Todd Milliner and Sean Hayes of Hazy Mills Mark produced two seasons of the award-winning History of Comedy. Past highlights include the Emmy-winning Gettysburg the PBS documentary Mission of Hope the IMAX film Magnificent Desolation The Work to Come: A Tribute to Ted Kennedy co-directed with Ken Burns the Oscar-shortlisted documentary David McCullough: Painting With Words and the Oscar-winning documentary short A Note of Triumph: The Golden Age of Norman Corwin.
Janet Shephard is the Chief Financial Officer of Herzog amp; Co. with over 20 years of professional experience. Janet oversees several departments at Herzog amp; Co. including finance and accounting human resources operations and IT. Outside of the office she enjoys camping baking and spending time with her two kids.
Andie Beckerman is the SVP of Original Programming and Development at Herzog amp; Co. with over 14 years of professional experience. Prior to joining HCO Andie got her start producing and editing in branded entertainment and advertising. After that Andie developed several successful shows for AMC before becoming VP of Development at USA Networks and Syfy. Andie made the switch from the network side to the production side when she joined the HCO team and now leads the charge on expanding HCOs award-winning original programming.
Nick Ward is the Head of Production at Herzog amp; Co. with over ten years of professional experience. He is a Los Angeles native — a rarity in the entertainment industry — and as such production is in his blood. After freelance line producing for various companies including Relativity Studio Lambert and Go Go Luckey Nick landed a freelance job with HCO and never left. After officially joining the HCO team in 2015 as Line Producer on two different HCO series Nick quickly rose to become HCOs Head of Production. When not in the office computing show budgets odds are you will find Nick roaming around on set seeing his efforts come to life.
Kimberly Panunzio is the Head of Creative Content at Herzog amp; Co. with over 15 years of professional experience creating EPK materials documentaries interactive apps and in-world scripted content. Kimberly oversees marketing and home entertainment strategies for a wide range of high profile partners including Paramount Pictures Disney Lionsgate and Netflix. When not in the office Kimberly enjoys listening to podcasts spending time with her son and is always in the middle of a book (or two or three).
Raleigh Stewart serves as Herzog amp; Co.s Creative Director with over 20 years of professional experience in entertainment design marketing and visual effects. Raleigh is a self-taught powerhouse with a diverse skill set. Originally from the Bay Area the tattoo-artist-turned-motion-designer/CG-generalist has been featured in the New York Times The Art of the Title SXSW and many other publications and film festivals. His unique visual style and intense passion for making art is as inspiring as it is infectious. If he isnt spending his free time with his wife and daughters he is most likely in his workshop making something crazy weird or just plain awesome.
Lauren Jones is the Head of Digital at Herzog amp; Co. with over 14 years of experience in Digital Marketing. Hailing from Melbourne Australia Lauren spent six years in London gaining accolades for creating content for clients such as Victorias Secret music superstar Kylie Minogue and Academy-Awards-and-Super-Bowl-director Hamish Hamilton. Lauren then brought her expertise in digital media content to Los Angeles where she served as Director of Branding for celebrity news outlet PerezHilton.com before starting her own hybrid digital marketing amp; public relations agency in 2012 which was then acquired by Rogers and Cowan in 2017. Now Lauren brings her high-energy results-driven marketing and creative experience to HCO where she is expanding the companys digital marketing presence.
Hutson Hayward is the Head of Post Production amp; Technology at Herzog amp; Co. with over 15 years of professional experience. Hailing from small-town Maine (where yes he walked to school on the railroad tracks) Hutson came to Los Angeles in 2005 where he found a position at HCO dubbing VHS tapes on the night shift. From this simple start he gained deep expertise in all aspects of Post Production and video technology overseeing first the transition from SD to HD video then the subsequent transition from physical to digital media. Now leading the Post Production and Technology Departments as the industry moves to 4K and beyond he works closely with Production and Design and interacts directly with clients to find appropriate solutions and ensure excellent quality.
Tate Sonnack is the Production Supervisor and a Line Producer at Herzog amp; Co. After graduating from USCs film school Tate began his professional career working in the trenches as a Camera Assistant in the unpredictable world of reality television. From his foundation in the camera department Tate steadily moved his way up the ranks and eventually began supervising multiple projects as a UPM and discovered his knack for production management. His technical background as a crew member compliments his managerial skillset as he now oversees productions of all scopes and sizes. Whether he is huddled under a pop-up tent in the middle of the desert running a set while on-location or balancing a budget from behind his laptop screen on a dimly-lit studio stage Tate has an impressive and diverse stack of credits to his name. When he isnt glued to his iThingys Tate is can be found taking off to far-flung destinations in search of his next international adventure.
Sarah Hoberman is the Sr. Director of Original Programming and Development at Herzog amp; Co. An award-winning journalist Sarah covered everything from breaking news to long form investigative stories for ABC News before moving to non-scripted development and programming with companies such as ITV America ATTN: and now HCO. Outside of the office Sarahs usually found on her front porch with her puppy and a good book.
Christopher Leckie is the Senior Post Production Supervisor at Herzog amp; Co. with over 15 years of professional experience. A native Los Angeleno he grew up familiar with the sight of film crews on the streets but still enjoys the art and creativity that go into making entertainment. Christopher has worked with almost every major studio and network and has dealt with just about every type of delivery imaginable from IGTV clips to interactive Blu-ray featurettes multi-episode series and several documentary features. Hes always ready to tackle a question or solve a Rubiks cube.
Jennie Albano is a Creative Content Producer at Herzog amp; Co. with 16 years of field and post production experience. After earning her MFA in Film Production from Boston University she moved to LA to pursue her film school dreams quickly carving out a career writing and producing for a variety of broadcast and digital programming at E! News Entertainment Tonight WE Oxygen Sundance Channel Food Network TNT Revolt and Yahoo! Before joining Herzog Jennie spent time in Silicon Beach producing high-profile marketing content for the internal creative agency at Snapchat. Now part of the Creative Content team she is responsible for producing client-focused marketing and home entertainment projects. Jennie is a self-professed pop culture obsessive who spends her free time watching every show seeing all the movies and spending way too much money on concert tickets.
Jeremy Foley is an EPK Producer at Herzog amp; Co. walking its hallowed halls for over a decade. Hes basically like their mascot. Originally from San Diego Jeremys career in the entertainment industry began as an actor starring in titles such as the beloved disaster flick Dantes Peak. When hes not in the office Jeremy can be found racking up points at the Arclight or traveling the world with his wife. Full list of fun facts available upon request.
Jack Kney is a senior producer at Herzog amp; Co. with over 35 years of professional experience. After 14 years working in the feature film industry as a first assistant director and a location manager Jack joined the HCO team in 1997 as one of the companys first major hires. He quickly took on producing and DP responsibilities for the companys growing slate of BTS and EPK projects for major studios including Paramount Pictures and Disney. Since then Jack has been the driving force behind most of HCOs productions both for Creative Content as well as Original Programming. When he is not behind the camera Jack is busy being a true outdoorsman – dirt biking mountain biking beach volleyball skiing backpacking you name it – and unwinding at concerts.
Brian Carroll is Herzog amp; Co.s Senior Art Director which is a fancy way of saying hes a professional dabbler. Whether its illustration visual effects motion graphics typography or any of the many things Brian has dabbled in over his 18 years of experience in professional design hes on hand to provide a skillset as diverse as the projects that pass through HCOs doors. After growing up in Connecticut and Florida he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two cats spending his downtime making comic strips and fighting for justice in local politics. He might have won an award or two but hes not particularly sure how that works.
Kristin Brown is a Production Coordinator at Herzog amp; Co. with over five years of experience working in the Production Department under both the Creative Content and Original Programming teams. Born and raised in Houston Texas she spent her last semester of college working in Los Angeles and has never looked back. She worked her first Production Assistant gig at HCO where her efforts and diligence have landed her in her current role today. If not in the office or hanging by the pool KB is most likely rocking out at a live music venue or prepping for next seasons fantasy football league.
