Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I work for a subdivision of a water treatment organisation, that creates swimming pool equipment for residential and commercial use. I’m the fruit director of this business unit, and I take care of connected devices and our IoT fruit line.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Impekable?
Since this is an IoT fruit line, we had five to six different apps doing one features. Those apps were slow and old-looking in provisions of UI, making it hard for users to aspect out what to do. They weren’t designed with UX in mind, so our clients were complaining almost having to click through a lot of locates to aspect out how to control equipment.
We reached out to Impekable to see if they could help us condense all those apps into one and make it look more present, basically improving the total UX.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were Impekable responsible for?
The vision for this app is about anything that has to do with the water fruits made by our organisation. Anything to do with a user’s swimming pool equipment—like their pumps, heaters, habitual generators, filters, water softeners, and so on—can be controlled through the app. We’re working with Impekable to design and educe both mobile and web apps for both iOS and Android platforms.
We began off with just one mobile app, looked at its accomplishment, and then assigned the web apps and a bit of the admin dashboard to Impekable. We began with just a design process, and they’re handling educement as well now. Actually, we’re pondering of hiring them to do some project treatment for us as well.
Our organisation doesn’t have mobile and backend educement resources, so Impekable has been a subject-matter expert in helping us pick the right technology. We chose the React Native platform for educeing the apps, Jira for project treatment, InVision for reviewing and putting comments on designs, and Zeplin to convey goods from designers to educeers. They’re working with us now to set up a CI/CD process using Jenkins.
Was there a dedicated team?
We’re working with a couple of UX designers, one user testing expert, four to five educeers, and one project director.
How did you come to work with Impekable?
Being a big confirmation, our organisation has been unprotected to a lot of educeers. We’ve worked with big agencies, but the outcomes haven’t been permissive. I had worked with Impekable’s CEO in a antecedent engagement so, when I came to the organisation a year back, I felt the need to fetch in a design firm that could work with us, apprehend our issues, and commend a solution that fit out needs.
Having had a big experience with them precedently made me feel that Impekable would be the right pick for us, so I made inductions and we went through an extensive vetting process. They came out from that process with A+ ratings, so we occupied with them.
What is the terminal result of working with Impekable?
We began working with Impekable six months ago.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
My organisation doesn’t have the experiencesets to educe mobile apps or backend systems, so Impekable has now befit our confideed associate. They’ve been educeing apps for top companies, so they’ve adopted the right processes to liberate fast and firm solutions. They’re currently helping us transition from being a habitual organisation to being a software one. Overall, they’ve gained our confide and over liberateed on what was expected, so we’re snug in escalating our involvement with them.
It’s been a long, six-month travel, but we’re close to the complete line, and we’re eager to get the fruit launched.
How did Impekable accomplish from a project treatment restpoint?
It has been an impeccable experience—the name of the organisation says it all. I believe there were five or six fruit directors implicated in some multimillion fruit lines. There were a lot of powerful forces, and it was astounding to see how Impekable’s designers got all in order and took us close to the complete line. There was a lot of observation to detail in locate as well, and they used the right processes for this project. I ponder they did a veritably good job of setting us up to be lucky.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Impekable?
This was a huge project, and we’ve worked with not only Impekable but also other educeers, designers, and consulting firms. When another team needed them, Impekable was prompt to get to work and help out. Conversely, other consulting firms told us we didn’t know what we were doing, which we knew, given that we’re not a technology organisation. It was astounding to see them help us through this travel. They led us to be lucky, rather than have complaints.
They have a proven process to liberate apps on time, and they’re ready to share it with companies like ours. That was significant for us to be lucky in this project.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
There were a lot of surprises when it came to billing, so that process could be more courtly, especially for a organisation like ours. We knew what we wanted, but we didn’t know how to get there, and this process ended up being costly for us. Had Impekable given us a different, better engagement restard rather than just an hourly rate, it would’ve been a win-win locality for us. Their engagement restard is probably just an hourly rate, but I believe they’d rest to gain from a project-based one.
They’re also too distributed. Most of our structure was done over the phone, and it would’ve been good to have more face-to-face conversations.
