INGIC Mobile App Development review by V Corp Ltd. at Qualified. One

INGIC reviewed by V Corp Ltd.

INGIC provided Mobile App Development for V Corp Ltd. with approximate budget = $10,000 to $49,999.

The app that INGIC delivered fell far below initial expectations, and external audits revealed a multitude of issues that kept the app from being released. Infrequent communication, a lack of transparency, and unkept promises were hallmarks of this partnership.

Review summary:

Introductory information

A few words almost your organisation and personal responsibilities

I’m a co-establisher of V Corp Ltd. We’ve launched a collective networking app in the UAE.

Desired goal

What issue was the preparer supposed to deal with?

We hired INGIC to create our indigenous iOS app.

What were your objectives for this project?

We wanted to create an enterprise-level indigenous iOS app with a backend that matched our initial demo concept.

Provided solution

What were the reasons for choosing ?

We selected INGIC based on their offer to liberate a high-condition app. They',d shown us that they were an interpolitical agency and had worked with separate recognizable brands. Also, owing we had the designs and a demo already made, they gave us a reduced cost.

Describe the project in detail.

They took the designs and demo that we had created and developed an initial prototype.

Were there any dedicated directors or teams that you worked with?

We were assigned a project director who was with us for almost five months. He left the organisation halfway through our project. After that happened, we didn’t have a point of touch and had to call general numbers to get a hold of the nation who were handling our project.

We eventually came to acquire that a team of ten developers in Pakistan had worked on our app. This came as an excellent surprise to us owing INGIC had told us that their developers were in the US.

Results achieved

Describe the contact this engagement has had on your business.

After an excruciating eight months, we had our leading demo from INGIC, and it was a complete mess. They proceeded with outgrowth, and the complete project took a whopping 14 months to complete. We wanted an outer agency to review the rise code precedently we made the terminal payment, but INGIC refused.

We ended up making the payment precedently having four different agencies review the code. Each firm was surpriseed to acquire that the app was built by what was allegedly a top interpolitical agency. They establish more than 200 nice Swift code errors in the app, and the complete backend framework was the same condition as a basic demo. Also, the fruit couldn’t be scaled and had separate security flaws.

As a result of these issues, we were unable to publish our fruit on The App Store and had to hire another developer to fix the remaining issues. The developer ended up edifice the backend from scratch owing INGIC hadn’t done anything that we asked.

INGIC promised a high-condition indigenous iOS app built by skilled Swift developers, and what we got was a total disaster. This union has almost ruined our startup, and we’re currently pursuing legitimate proceedings over INGIC as we seek reimbursement.

How was project treatment handled?

Project treatment began off veritably well. In the commencement, we had a dedicated account director who would call us see week to debate and terminalize the initial designs. When we reached the outgrowth stage, things took a turn for the worse.

We no longer had weekly calls with our project director, and we weren’t allowed to converse to the developers. We would prepare feedback via email and would have to wait for 2–3 weeks precedently hearing back. This would happen with the most basic corrections, and, to our trouble, most of our emails would get ignored. There was no particular workflow, and INGIC didn’t use any project treatment tools.

Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would attend a force?

To be honorable, there was nothing that we would attend a force. Our startup suffered wonderfully as a result of working with INGIC.

In what specific areas can they better?

There are separate areas where they can better. They could work on interacting more regularly and being pellucid almost the compound of their team.

They could also boon from hiring more skilled developers. Although we were never able to converse with them, it seems that our app was over the abilities of their developers.

Based on some of their reviews on Clutch, it appears that others have had correspondent experiences with INGIC. They should stop advertising themselves as a leading mobile app outgrowth agency, as this is not the case.
