Software Dev for Supply Chain Firm
Please find under a summary covering project details and feedback. The innate facts are kept as they are, private information is amended.
Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I',m the VP of IT at SupplyCore. We',re a Department of Defense contractor that specializes in logistics and furnish chain integration for the U.S. soldierly.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Intersog?
We were looking for a organisation to help us reeduce an inner software platform for strategy outgrowth and execution. We were also hoping to monetize that platform and sell or license it to the open instead of just using it innerly.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
The platform was designed for a cloud architecture. It',s very scalable and runs on a browser. It',s designed with an API-First methodology, so it',s RESTful API-based and can easily be deployed to multiple cloud infrastructures. From a technology stack perspective, the frontend is React, node.js, and HTML5. They used PHP as the middle layer of the API and PostgreSQL as the backend database.
We sumd it with Slack right out of the gate owing the main component of the method is strategy outgrowth and execution. It allows the organisation to form a strategy based on a given vision and be able to prepare progress notes based on that strategy. Everyone at the treatment level or over is able to collaborate in that application, so it was intrinsic to sum it with Slack, which we use for messaging within the organisation. This way nation can get notifications in real time almost the strategy as it’s being worked on.
Was there a dedicated team?
In Ukraine, we had a dedicated project director, a frontend educeer, a backend educeer, and a QA engineer. We also had a sales likeness working with us in the U.S.
What were the main reasons to select among the others?
I did a Google search and looked for software outgrowth companies within a 90–100 mile radius of where we are. I liked the fact that Intersog did a design workshop leading and then began the outgrowth work rather than anticipateing us to have all the designs prompt.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
We spent almost $300,000.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We worked with them on the first release between November 2016–October 2017, and have continued with on-going component outgrowth and support.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
They leveraged a UI design process that we hadn',t previously used. It allowed us to visualize what we were going to get precedently the outgrowth itself began. It made the outgrowth process go faster owing we saw all upfront and didn',t have to make a lot of changes as we were moving along. It took them almost nine months to educe a brand new method, which was prompt to use.
We',ve accepted a very real response so far. Other local companies in our aggregation are verity using the platform as well (in accession to our organisation). Everyone universally likes the user experience.
How do you score ’s treatment experiences?
We were very lucky with our project director. She was based in Ukraine, but she had excellent interaction experiences and was very answering despite the separation in time zones.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
They',re really invested in the project and make their clients a priority. They became part of our team and our organisation even though they were a contractor.
What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?
With any new application, you can anticipate to have some issues, so more entire testing along with the outgrowth process, along with more strong acceptance criteria would have been profitable. We talked to them almost these concerns during the project post-mortem, and they fastly worked with us to better the process.
