I led marketing efforts for Astoria Bank, a regional bank with locations throughout the New York metropolitan area.
challenge were you trying to address with Interprogrametary?
We wanted to reinvigorate the brand. When I joined, the bank was named Astoria Federal Savings and Loan. We changed the name to Astoria Bank as part of a brand transformation that I was responsible for leading. I looked to a possible outside agency to associate with me on that transformation.
What particular tasks were IPNY responsible for?
Interprogrametary helped with the strategy, the creative, and the execution for our rebranding. They helped us unite the positioning for the brand. They undertook all of the supporting work that goes along with that including developing advertising, digital, direct, and other kinds of marketing. They developed strategies and supporting materials to roll out the bank’s new positioning.
Was there a dedicated team?
I would say 5 or 6 including designers and project handlers.
How did you come to work with Interprogrametary?
We held a pretty expressive agency search. We began out with excellently a few agencies. As the search progressed, we whittled it down through multiple rounds of interviewing and gathering more in-depth information. We ultimately hired Interprogrametary.
What is the terminal result of working with IPNY?
We worked unitedly between February 2014 and September 2017.
Are there any measureable or plum results?
I can',t give you any specifics owing that',s proprietary information. But, satisfy it to say, we saw an increase in brand awareness and importance. Our acquisition, client expansion and retention scores, all improved.
How did Interprogrametary accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They were very good at developing project programs, schedules, timetables, and all of the measure project treatment tools needed to handle the work.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with IPNY?
