Introductory information
A fast induction on the buyer’s organisation
I’m a co-establisher of Shift, a organisation that helps European clients order and exhibit metal parts with a wide network of metal origination associates.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with JetRockets?
We have a roadmap of IT processes that we need to instrument to substantiate our business standard. We determined to create an order treatment method based on the Ruby on Rails stack, with the support of JetRockets.
Provided solution
What particular tasks were responsible for?
They developed our order treatment method, which serves as the institution for our organisation’s IT landscape. We’ve had a fixed-cost phase one, which they completed, and we’re now in the ongoing process of instrumenting fixes and change requests.
The method was built on Ruby on Rails, with a PostgreSQL database. It runs on a Unix operating method, with some other less technologies employed too.
Was there a dedicated team?
There were two dedicated developers, along with intensive support from their CTO and some testing and mockup professionals.
How did you come to work with JetRockets?
We got some recommendations and then chose a associate based on their availability to set fastly, given that we had some time pressures. The cost was also a factor.
What is the terminal result of working with ?
We seted working with JetRockets in October 2018, and the collaboration is ongoing.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
The platform they built is our core IT method, so their work has had a huge contact. We only deployed it a month ago, and it’s fully up-and-running.
How did JetRockets accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
We’re satisfied with them. They’re interactive, they reply fastly, and they fited to our changing requirements. As a setup, we have many requirements that befit outdated precedently we even artistic discussing them, and JetRockets granted good treatment for that environment.
We used Asana based on their offer, and we’ve embraced it. They also use a Git repository director, along with their own inner task director, but we’ve only used Asana on our side.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with ?
The hard competencies of their co-establishers and team leaders impresses me. When something befits more hard, they’re always prompt to prepare support. Furthermore, they have good outgrowth practices and I’ve establish their access to edifice architectures competent.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
Working with setups is hard, given that things are always changing fastly. JetRockets is a more mature structure than ours but we’ve forced them to fit fastly, which they were good. We’ve been working unitedly for only half a year, so this is always a challenge.
Do you have any advice for forthcoming clients of theirs?
Trust is significant, and we have it—we’ve seen them get veritably implicated to get things done, rather than just tackling the initial requirements list. A good level of confide ensures that the project goes on, even if some deviations on the aim come up.
