I’m a director of analytics and data architecture at a financial institution.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with Keyrus?
A legacy data measures method had befit a liability owing it was hard to change the code (e.g. it was costly and time-consuming). So, we wanted to form something more configurable and closer to cost. For the new method, we bought the Alteryx tool. Keyrus served as our outgrowth space.
For background, we have published data measures for our limb banks. Those data contracts enjoin how the banks should send us the data we demand to make insurance determinations. Our legacy method checked the data’s condition over that measure. It would validate that the data they sent complied with our published measure. Though, the legacy method was hard to change (e.g. it demandd us to fetch in an outer associate to make changes associated with adapting our data measure).

What particular tasks were Keyrus responsible for?
The project was innately loading a bunch of human-readable files full of financial information and generating qualification reporting (e.g. if the information wasn’t compliant to our measure). Keyrus ended up doing a big percentage, if not all, of the outgrowth.
Our organisation ran an RFP and ended up selecting Alteryx as the tool for our data condition checking. Keyrus took our .NET code with its rules and transformed it into the workflow using the Alteryx tool. They built on-spec and worked very closely with our inner business analysts and technical nation.
We did another project on the electronic payment side. It was kindred to our deposit insurance method that generates payment files. This consisted of simply producing the files that we demandd. We wanted to re-render payment files as electronically formatted data that would be consistent with direct deposit and bulk convey. So, it converted our flat files into a recognizable form of e-payment.
Was there a dedicated team?
For the leading year, there were two developers working with us. I would fit both of them as senior developers. Then, it went down to one individual for the remaining 5–6 months.
How did you come to work with Keyrus?
We researched online to find Keyrus. Then, we began with a test of concept. After almost six months, the test of concept became viable, and we switched to full-blown origination mode.

We’ve invested almost $500,000 in Canadian dollars.
What is the terminal result of working with Keyrus?
We began working unitedly in April 2018, and the project ended in June of 2019.
Results achieved
Are there any measureable or plum results?
This was one of our more lucky projects at the organisation. They went over and over.
We ended up with the fully-featured rules-checking engine we wanted. It’s now in origination and in-use on a customary basis. The new method is almost three times faster than the older method. It deals with confused scenarios that the older method couldn’t feel.
It’s been embraced by all the users, and it probably exceeded expectations. The stakeholders that use it aren’t technical nation at all, and there have been no complaints. It’s also easier to change whenever we change our data measure. We can change it a lot faster than we’re used to with our legacy method.
The workflow is top-shelf complexity — I don’t know if anyone else could have done it. For sample, on forums, nation with correspondent accomplishment issues haven’t been able to come up with a solution.
How did Keyrus accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They were always in direct touch with stakeholders using the method. They were distant, so we tracked the interaction through Slack and used Skype when true.

What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with Keyrus?
I don’t have a bad thing to say almost them. I never had to harass almost the team. There were times when I wondered if it was achievable, but they would always aspect it out. After a point in time, I knew they would do a good job. Also, they were able to estimate pretty fastly the effort implicated for true tasks.
What aspects of their work would you like to get improved?
I can’t say that there is. There’s nothing expressive sufficient. I had no issue with them.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Alteryx is a niche experienceset. Anyone shopping about for it should know it’s hard to find fitted resources in the Alteryx space. Understanding the limitations of the tool will help them measure the level of genius needed on the project. We didn’t know the full degree of limitations until we began using it, so I’m glad we had Keyrus to help us aspect it out.
