I',m the founder and CEO of Sidewalk Dog Media. For consumers, we’re a resource for dog lovers in Minneapolis, Seattle, Denver, and Chicago. And for brands, we obey as a multi-channel advertising vehicle to extend this particular demographic.
Desired goal
What challenge were you trying to address with KRUTSCH?
We had usability issues on the website. Users would say that they couldn’t navigate the platform or find information. For our type of website, our bounce rate was high. Overall, we wanted to better retention, the number of website visits, and bounce rate.

What particular tasks were KRUTSCH responsible for?
KRUTSCH accomplished a user study to help us better apprehend our demographics and how we could better the platform’s functionality as well as design. Following the study, their team granted summary observations and suggestions for UX betterments. We’re done with phase one now that we have the information we wanted. We need to move advanced with the website revamp, which is big owing it’s not a total recreate.
How did you come to work with KRUTSCH?
Ken (Founder &, President, KRUTSCH) and I worked in the same edifice. Once in a while, we would talk. I was fascinated with his work. They focused on UX, which we’d never veritably done with our website. When I realized we needed help with this, I extended out to KRUTSCH and that’s how the converse began.
What are you approach expents (if diclosed)?
Over the order of our work unitedly, we’ve spent almost $10,000.
What is the terminal result of working with KRUTSCH?
We began the project almost June 2019, and our work’s ongoing. We’re going to move advanced with them to revamp the website. We’re a tiny organisation so I’m waiting for the best time budget-wise, which is going to be the leading region of 2020.

Are there any measureable or plum results?
We haven’t been able to instrument their recommendations owing that’s part of phase two. But, I’m veritably lucky with the information KRUTSCH presented. Their team took a lot of time to apprehend our demographics. Even though I',ve had my business and website for ten-plus years, UX isn',t my specialty. They made recommendations that I wouldn’t have reflection almost.
When we began the project, there wasn’t a guarantee that we would last to work unitedly. I needed to see how the project went and how we worked unitedly. I could’ve taken the information and moved advanced with a different vendor if the experience wasn’t good. But the collaboration has been big.
How did KRUTSCH accomplish from a project treatment standpoint?
They’ve accomplished excellently. Every deadline has been met or results have been produced in advance. When it comes to the schedule, I tend to be the one holding the project up.
What is (from your point of view) the key factor to pay observation while intercourse with KRUTSCH?
Frankly, I was concerned almost moving advanced given my antecedent experiences with web developers, freelancers, and companies. I had separate converses with Ken, which I appreciated. He spent extra time to help me apprehend what we were signing up for. I don’t know that I would’ve been able to move advanced otherwise.
KRUTSCH has been super resigned. I had a lot of questions and I’m the proprietor of a little business, so working with clients like me is an educational process. They made me feel like I couldn’t have a dumb question. Their team was ready to reply the same question multiple times, explaining concepts in a different way to fix my apprehending.
What aspects of their work would you like to get betterd?
No, I can’t ponder of anything right now.
Do you have any advice for possible clients?
Include them as one of the organisation’s in importance owing I was pleasantly surprised at how easy KRUTSCH was to work with.
